Magic Symbols is a bookstore located in the southeast corner of Kathar.
The proprietor, Assran Vlares, has 10,000 gold, a Mercantile skill of 58, and buys and sells books and scrolls.
The shop occupies both floors of a two-story building. The ground floor is windowless and lined with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves except for one corner, where a set of stairs leads to the upper floor. A counter stands before the stairs.
The upper floor is a sitting area; one wall is taken up by another large bookcase, while a cage opposite it holds another, smaller shelf with rare books. There are two chairs and tables here for patrons to sit and read.
