Command Humanoid[edit]

I couldn't get the Dreamer to attack me, so I cast a command humanoid spell on him and walked him out. Then he walked out of town. Doing that failed to update my journal. 174.22.193.52 03:35, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Andrew

The article explicitely states you have to kill the Dreamer in order for the quest to update. --Timenn-<talk> 15:13, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

I killed him, apparently.[edit]

I just started with a new character. After doing only the first two quests that Caius gives you in the main storyline, I went to Ald Ruhn and started just randomly talking to people. When I talked to Gindrala, she thanked me for killing the dreamer. Wierd, huh? — Unsigned comment by 75.163.148.186 (talk) at 23:19 on 8 June 2010‎

I'm further along than that, but this is the first time I've encountered Gindrala, and I haven't even received the 6th House quest involving Dagoth Gares yet, and she did the same thing.
Having no key, I lockpicked my way into the house to check it out. Unless her house has a basement that I missed finding, there's no sign of a dreamer, but I found some ash statues probably associated with his appearance, and swiped them.
As many times as I've played Morrowind, I don't know what to do with the creepy little statues; my PCs have been Telvanni rather than Redoran, so Brara Morvayn and Lloros Sarano won't even talk to me about them, (although I have a vague memory of one time I may have gotten around that obstruction on my way to becoming Hortator or something). I really need to try being Redoran once. Downstrike (talk) 08:31, 12 February 2013 (GMT)

quest timeline[edit]

I noticed something strange, Gindrala never talked about "strange man" to me , I tried to come to her almost 40 times reloading aldrhun by jumping into balmora and back... I tried that just after Caius Cosades left Morrowind.

Quest may be started after "6th house base" true, but also something other prevent it from tiggering I guess... any idea what's going on?--89.64.29.237 14:25, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
