Meteor Slime/Unique Ingredients in Alchemy Combination Tables[edit]

Can consensus be established on the inclusion of special ingredients from Alchemy Combination Tables? I would like to start adding (or removing) Special Ingredients to these tables.

Other than Human Flesh, Meteor Slime seems to be the only "unique" ingredient listed in the Combination Effect sections on each individual ingredient page—I'm struggling to understand the justification of their inclusion on these tables when most other Special Ingredients are omitted. The CSK marks the only source of Meteor Slime—the Charles the Plant container— as non-respawning. Since it's finite, I don't think it's particularly more viable/relevant than other Special Ingredients.

  • Examples of Meteor Slime being included in alchemy combination tables: Ash Salts, Black Lichen, Bloat
  • Meteor Slime shares the same alchemy effects as Scrib Jelly; it's indistinguishable from Scrib Jelly other than name and id. Similar to Muffin (which is not included in alchemy combination tables, despite the inclusion of its twin ingredient Bread)
  • Human Flesh seems to be sufficiently unique enough to be included on tables, as it doesn't share its effects with another ingredient

I think the inclusion of all duplicate-effect Special Ingredients (e.g. Meteor Slime, Muffin, Heart of the Udyrfrykte, Flaming Eye of the Lightkeeper, Treated Bittergreen Petals) will bloat the table as most users won't find their inclusion relevant. But I do think the information might still be valuable and should be included in some way.

Would a footnote (like on the cursed variants of ingredients on the Alchemy Effects page) for their non-unique counterpart's inclusion would be the most efficient way of going about it?:

Desired Effect Combine with:
Cure Blight Disease Cure Blight Disease Scrib Jelly*
* Unique version exists, see individual ingredient page for details.

Or <ref> tags:

Desired Effect Combine with:
Cure Blight Disease Cure Blight Disease Scrib Jelly[1]
  1. ^ Unique version exists, see individual ingredient page for details.

I'm not certain either alternative is better than outright listing every relevant unique ingredient in the table. Not sure where to draw the line here— should only unique quest items be omitted?
