The White Stallion Inn was an inn located in Blackwood along Cyrodiil's Green Road north of Leyawiin in the Second Era.[1] It was later converted to a private lodge for use by members of the Knights of the White Stallion, a knightly order based in and around Leyawiin in the late Third Era.[2][3]

History[edit]

In 2E 582, the inn was run by a Nord innkeeper named Grelaith, who provided lodging and provisions to travelers along the Green Road.[4] The most notable feature of the inn at this time was the large number of pets kept on the premises by the innkeeper.

By the late Third Era, the stable had disappeared for unknown reasons, and the inn itself had been converted to the White Stallion Lodge,[2] a shelter and safehouse for the Knights of the White Stallion, a chivalric order operating in and around Leyawiin and chartered by the Count of Leyawiin.[3] In 3E 433, it became the residence of Mazoga the Orc, a former bandit turned knight[5] who was inducted into the Knights of the White Stallion by Count Marius Caro after defeating Black Brugo, the notorious leader of the Black Bow Bandit gang, with the help of the Hero of Kvatch.[6] Mazoga used the lodge as a base of operations for continued raids on the remaining members of the Black Bow Bandits.[7]
