Tamburkar was a forest featured in the fictional novel series The Adventures of Eslaf Erol. It was located in the province of Skyrim, outside the kingdom of Erolgard. Its southern parts were located near the Mount Jensen and the Hoarbeld village. Eslaf Erol committed his first act of thievery in the southern woods of Tamburkar.[1]

- Tamburkar and other locations and characters present in the novel may be fictional. Though the books of the series may appear to be a historical account, they are likely to be fictional, as indicated by the names of the major characters, each of which when spelled backward gives a pretty clear indication of the fact: Eslaf Erol: False Lore, Lahpyrcopa: Apocryphal, Ytluaf: Faulty, Ynohp: Phony, Laernu: Unreal, Suoibud: Dubious, Laicifitra: Artificial, Drusba: Absurd, Ylekilnu: Unlikely. Even the author's name is "Never" spelled backward.[2]
