Serkamora, also known as The Serk, is a settlement in the Deshaan region of Morrowind, along the banks of Lake Hlaalu in northwest Redolent Loam. It was under jurisdiction of House Redoran,[1] though House Hlaalu also protected the town in times of crisis.[2]

During the Planemeld the town was used as a testing ground for the Llodos Plague by the Maulborn,[3] garnering it the name Quarantine Serk. The Serk graveyard is nearby and crypts and catacombs run beneath the town.

History[edit]

Second Era[edit]

In 2E 582, the city was put infected with the Llodos Plague by the Maulborn, unbeknownst to the inhabitants. They masqueraded as caretakers and urged others in Deshaan to go to the Serk for the cure.[citation needed][4] Nostrum Breva, the leader of the force, was exposed for creating deadlier batches of the plague and executed, and the Maulborn were run out of the Serk.[5]
