Daggerfall talk:Elysana's Betrayal

Quest bug

I tried this quest out and I'm having some problems. First of all, Elysana wants me to travel to a place in Daggerfall to meet...Elysana. When I got to the place, I found her in their attic (what's a Wayrest princess doing there, in Daggerfall of all places). She then freaked out and gave me my money saying that she didn't believe I would make it there. After that, nothing happens. The "cousin" leaves me and it never even suggests that she was a prostitute. When I looked in my logbook, the quest was still there, however the word "BLANK" was present in the area where the reward amount was supposed to be (meaning that it stated that "Elysana promised me 'BLANK' amount of gold..."). After a few hours, the quest disappeared and still nothing happened. I tried the quest again, and this time I decided to sleep in an INN for awhile. I was eventually attacked by assassins, but I never found the letter stating where Lysandus' Tomb was. --AlcaeusTheWizard 19:15, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

Rumor Source

Probably to a large degree, I'm the source of the rumor about getting Lysandus' Tomb location from this quest. That information came off of the AOL Daggerfall board back in the day. They were run by people from Bethsoft at the time. If memory serves (and it could be fooling me), I did pick up the location one time from one of the assassins, but it had to have been way before the v.213 patch. 75.54.106.92 21:53, 10 September 2011 (UTC) Marstinson 21:54, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
