Beyond Skyrim:Cyrodiil/Passive Creatures
Like Skyrim, Cyrodiil contains many passive creatures, creatures that are completely unable to attack or harm you. Technically, these are not even true creatures, but are more similar to scenery: animated effects that can be activated (typically yielding an ingredient or food), but have no other activities.
Aquatic Creatures[edit]
Fish can be found in most large bodies of water. Look for insects flying above the water to find fish below. The following fish yield items of the same name unless otherwise noted.
Golden Gill[edit]
Golden Gills yield Golden gills, an alchemy ingredient.
Heartland Highfin[edit]
Heartland Highfins yield Heartland highfins, an alchemy ingredient.
Nibenay Snapper[edit]
Nibenay Snappers yield Nibenay snappers, an alchemy ingredient.
Nibenay Trout[edit]
Nibenay Trouts yield trout meat.
Rainbow Fish[edit]
Rainbow Fish yield Rainbow fish, an alchemy ingredient.
Food[edit]
These animals are found dead, usually hanging upside down near a fire or in the wilderness.
Charred Rat[edit]
Charred rats are found around bonfires, typically in bandit camps or goblin camps. They yield rat meat when activated.
Nibenay Trout (dead)[edit]
Hanging Nibenay Trout, just like live Nibenay Trout, yields trout meat.
Insects[edit]
Beetle[edit]
Beetles can be found during the day; each insect yields one beetle, an alchemy ingredient.
Buck Moth[edit]
Buck Moths can be found during the day; each insect yields two buck moth wings.
Dragonfly[edit]
Dragonflies yield black dartwings or green dartwings. They can be found during the day, often over water.
Emperor Moth[edit]
Emperor Moths can be found during the day; each insect yields two emperor moth wings.
Gypsy Moth[edit]
Gypsy Moths can be found at night; each insect yields two gypsy moth wings.
Ladybug[edit]
Ladybugs can be found during the day; each insect yields one ladybug, an alchemy ingredient.
Other Creatures[edit]
Black Eagle[edit]
Black Eagles are birds seen flying around Cyrodiil. Just like, Skyrim's hawks, they can be shot down, yielding one black eagle beak and three black eagle feathers.
