Dear friend,

I'm writing this in haste, so don't expect any fancy words (not that I know all that many of them). But I made you a promise - I promised you, when you freed me from my bonds in the bowels of that Oblivion-damned Imperial fort, putting your own hide on the line for my sake, that I'd find some way to reward you.

Well, friend, I may be many things, but I'm not a man without honor. So here. Have this. A rich sum of gold - five hundred septims, to be precise, and my thanks.
