Hey, you wanted information on Chercher? Well, the name itself means "to seek" in French. Chercher is brown-haired, bright-eyed, and pale-skinned. Her personality is marked by practicality, efficiency, and logic; I would call her a girl who prefers the simple pleasures, but also one who likes some degree of rules and rigidity. She's not one for religion, in fact having denounced worship after a series of tragedies in her life (her mother's death, etc.). Chercher, in other stories and universes, has a role as a grammar nazi. In the ES universe, I could so see her involved in the publishing of books. Not a writer, more of a copyeditor. She's also a skilled cook.

Hope that helps you. I can give more info if needed, up to and including where the character first came from in my mind. Thanks for using my character! --Somercy 00:33, 17 July 2008 (EDT)

The urchin, all the way. She's known hardship and poverty--the time right after her mother died was really rough for her, and she had to resort to illegal acts (along the lines of prostitution) to survive. That's also why she feels a need to seem more practical and a bit more sophisticated now, to make up for it. --Somercy 15:00, 25 July 2008 (EDT)
OK, that's almost all I need right now, but I would like a general idea of her appearance, not more to describe her, but to really know who I'm writing about, and I must give you credit, you've really thought this character out haven't you?-Puddle TalkContribs. 21:48, 25 July 2008 (EDT)
Chercher was the character I used when I first learned about forum roleplay in 2004, so I've gotten to know her well over the time since. As for her appearance...Her brown hair is thick and prone to frizz. Would you understand the term "frizzy Jew hair"? Her eyes are light grey, and very intelligent. Her nose is a bit too strong, and her lips are most often in a thin line. When nervous, she tends to bite her lips or chew at her nails. Her shoulders are strong, held proudly. Um, her bust is not large enough to draw excess attention, but nor is it lacking. Her figure is thin, streamlined. Her legs are thin, not notably shapely or anything. She has a calligrapher's hands, thin-fingered and nimble. In clothing, she usually tends toward muted colors: greys, berry-dyed purples, dusty roses. Her posture is usually very straight and precise, and she's also the same way about words when she talks. --Somercy 23:46, 25 July 2008 (EDT)
No I would not really understand that term, but I think know how I'm going to portray her, she will be sneaky and devious on the run, using her wits and creativity (?) to outsmart and trap her foes. Desperately trying to escape... (insert location here) before she is caught by the (insert army/guard here). The location is up to you. It depends where you think she would be by now.-Puddle TalkContribs. 09:23, 26 July 2008 (EDT)
Well, I see her mostly as a city girl. Location, I'm not an authority on; the only game I've played is Morrowind, myself, so I'm limited. --Somercy 22:42, 30 July 2008 (EDT)
Okay, so... would it be okay if she was trying to get into Cyrodiil (and eventually Valenwood) after rescuing an urchin, who was about to be put into a slavery program?-Puddle TalkContribs. 17:42, 1 August 2008 (EDT)

((Sod the colons)) Sorry, I got busy with camp. I can see that idea working well for her. I can't wait to see this. Somercy 12:45, 15 August 2008 (EDT)
