If the player is a non-Altmer, he will admit the troubles he has had selling to the Altmer:

"So many of these Elves walk by my shop without so much as a glance. My items are of high quality! Please, see for yourself."

"All my High Elf customers get upset over the smallest things. I've become so stressed my spines have started to droop! Please, brighten my day with a purchase."

If the player character is a High Elf, he will (poorly) attempt to use Altmeri words:

"Bah-rah, good patron. How can I help you today?"

"What an honor, that a kerr-oo-vale enter my shop! How can I help you?"

"What can I get for you today, Kor-um?"
