Gunozag the Extorter

Gunozag the Extorter is an Orc who can be found on the roads around Tamriel. He is part of a random encounter that only appears during the Witches Festival event. Depending on the choices you make during conversation, he may end up "cursing" you or giving you an item.

Dialogue

When approached, he'll say one of following:

Gunozag the Extorter: "Woe to those who do not heed my warning!"

Gunozag the Extorter: "Ignore me at your own peril, fool!"

Gunozag the Extorter: "Appease me and you may yet avoid your doom!"

Talking to him:

"Tremble at the sight of my greatness! I am the avatar of a dark power beyond your shallow comprehension!
Does my presence not turn your joints to stone?! Do you not quake in your boots! Do I not terrify you?"

Is that outfit supposed to be frightening?

"Uh. Well, yes. It should be. You know, frightening. Isn't it?"

So, what did you want?

"Oh, right. Tremble at the sight of my greatness! My power is not to be trifled with! My curse is deadly! But you can be spared, for the right price.

I don't need a curse right now. I'll pay.

"Good. My arm was starting to cramp from all the cursing today. Thank you, and good luck out there with the witches!"

Do your worst.

"Oh, I will, foolish one. I will. Receive my curse!"

If you decline to pay him, you will acquire a debuff: The Curse of Deadly Doom.

If you talk to him while under the effects of the Witchmother's Brew or while wearing Witch's Infernal Hat, the conversation will be different:

"Tremble at the—at the, uh … excuse me. You actually look kind of dangerous."

Is that outfit supposed to be frightening?

"Uh. Well, yes. It should be. You know, frightening. Isn't it?"

You seem nervous. Do I make you nervous?

"Nervous? Me? Darkness incarnate? A little. B-but only because I'm afraid of what my curse might do to you!
That said, I like you. S-so I can let you walk away for much less than I usually charge. What do you think?"

I don't need a curse right now. I'll pay.

"You will? I mean, of course you will! Being cursed is no fun for anyone. Well, goodbye then."

Maybe we both walk away from this encounter uncursed.

"Oh. Both of us? Right. Y-you know, that sounds like a good idea. Let's do that."

Pay me instead and you get to keep your soul.

"M-my soul? Yes, of course—take it. No, no, no! Not my soul. I mean the gold! The gold! Here, take it!"

If you tell Gunozag to pay you, he gives you a sack of Coins.

The Curse of Deadly Doom

"The effects of this curse are mysterious by their absence."

This debuff curse lasts for twelve hours. It causes a purple mist to follow the player for a few seconds after changing zones.
