Gazmod the Collector

Gazmod the Collector is a Watcher who can be found at their villa in Fargrave. As befits their moniker, Gazmod is a collector of various rarities and curiosities.

Quest-Related Events

Arrive at the villa and you'll find the Collector admiring The Anchorite's mask:

Gazmod the Collector: "Its mask. It intrigues. It must become a part of Gazmod's collection."

The Anchorite: "Um … friend … why don't you talk to the Collector …."

Speaking to them:

"It approaches. It dares speak. Will it offer the mask to compensate for such insults?"

Madam Whim sent us. She said your collection might contain something to decipher a Dagonic code.

"It invokes Madam Whim. Wants what belongs to Gazmod and Gazmod alone. It is presumptuous.
Leave our gaze. Gazmod no longer wants to look upon it."

Lyranth, maybe you can convince them?

You turn to Lyranth who, with The Anchorite, try to sweeten the negotiations:

Lyranth: "I meant no insult by having my mortal speak to you, Collector. We merely seek to borrow a Dagonic codebreaker."

The Anchorite: "Since you're clearly interested, I'll allow you to examine my mask."

Gazmod the Collector: "No, the Arox must not leave the gallery. But Gazmod will peer at its mask. This way, mask-wearer."

Lyranth: "Come, little mortal. We must find the Arox. Perhaps the gallery is beyond that door."

Speaking to them before you go with Lyranth:

"Depart. Gazmod wishes to gaze upon the intriguing mask and reveal its secrets. You hold no interest for us and we do not wish to look upon you."

As you explore the Collectors galleries, you'll hear Gazmod's disembodied voice:

Gazmod the Collector: "It dares enter our collection? Does it not know we see through many eyes?"

Gazmod the Collector: "Our collection is as dangerous as it is beautiful!"

Gazmod the Collector: "Gazmod sees the intruders. Now we shall demonstrate the power of our collection."

As you reach the final area, Gazmod releases a number of enemies to try and stop you. Each time you defeat one, they will grow more aggitated:

Gazmod the Collector: "Perhaps they will amuse us as our collection destroys them."

Gazmod the Collector: "It tries our patience! This monstrosity will destroy it!"

Gazmod the Collector: "It no longer amuses. Gazmod has grown weary and departs now."

<Gazmod vanishes deeper into their villa.>
