The Fanged Menace and its handlers

Fanged Menace is a giant snake and a mini-boss of Arx Corinium. Defeating it has a small chance to award Chain of the Snake Charmer, a unique item in the Undaunted Infiltrator item set.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss type enemy, the Fanged Menace is immune to all forms of crowd control effects.

Strike

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Kiss of Poison

A heavy melee attack that does moderate poison damage followed by poison damage over time. This attack should be blocked if possible.

Lash

The boss whips its tail at players dealing moderate physical damage and staggering them as indicated by a large red cone.

Poison Cloud

The boss curls up and releases poison around itself, dealing moderate poison damage over time as indicated by a large red circle. While not too dangerous, this AOE must be avoided as standing in it will heal the boss for very large amounts over time.

	Arx Corinium Survivor	50	Defeat the Fanged Menace, Ganakton the Tempest, Sliklenia the Songstress, Matron Ixniaa, the Ancient Lurcher, and Sellistrix the Lamia Queen in Veteran Arx Corinium, without suffering a group member death.
	Arx Corinium Assassin	50	Defeat the Fanged Menace, Ganakton the Tempest, Sliklenia the Songstress, Matron Ixniaa, the Ancient Lurcher, and Sellistrix the Lamia Queen in Veteran Arx Corinium within twenty minutes of starting the dungeon. Timer starts when players engage the first group of nesting serpents.
