Dead Mountain Lion[edit]

It was brought to my attention that there is a dead mountain lion the "second level of Newt Cave." My initial quick walk-through of the cave revealed no already dead mountain lion. In the next couple days, i will conduct a more thorough inspection of this cave for the mountain lion as well as to provide verification for the clean-up project. --XHellxKnighTx 02:54, 24 May 2008 (EDT)

Perhaps because there is no dead mountain lion? Which is perhaps why this article has never said anything about a dead mountain lion? There's no reason to search the cave, because it's much easier to just scan the cave's contents in the construction set, where no mountain lion (alive or dead) is listed. So I'm not exactly sure why you're bringing up a problem-for-fixing that has never needed to be fixed. --NepheleTalk 22:45, 9 June 2008 (EDT)

Possible to get trapped[edit]

It's possible to get trapped in Newt Cave Breezeways, in the room containing the dead goblins. If you jump over the chair the dead goblin is resting on, with the beer bottles underneath, you can't get back out, either by walking past the side of the chair or jumping back over it.Bindibelle 05:45, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

That is a pretty common problem in Oblivion and is not really special for Newt Cave - I just tested it from your description, and couldn't even squeeze myself in behind that chair. Sometimes just just land where you were not supposed to land and then you are stuck. --Krusty 07:43, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Worth mentioning?[edit]

In the northern most section of Chapels of Light there is what appears to be a baby skeleton (minus the extremities). Herman 23:03, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes, those skeletons are commonly found in many caves. Legoless 23:10, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
