The northern lands of the Imperial Province, covered in snow and ice, have for many years dealt with the threat of marauding bands of pillagers and bandits. As of late, more organized than usually, clans of Skyrim bandits have set encampments in the whereabouts of Bruma and all along the steep walls of the Jerall Mountains. These bandits have proven to be a greater source of danger than any previous band of thieves Captain Burd has had to face during his years at the head of the Bruma Guard. Perhaps eradicating the source of union among these otherwise hostile clans would help to prevent further damage to the citizens of Bruma and to the travelers of the northern mountains.

The bandits consist of three different clans: Arctic Wolves, Ice Dragon, and Three Wolves; they are led by Vyka Herlst, Marlek, and Hrun Illmouth. The clans occupy several camps in northern Cyrodiil - the Ice Dragon Clan Camp (located in the far northwest corner of Cyrodiil - this is where Marlek is); Hidden Camp (Hrun Illmouth, another clan leader, can be found here); Arctic Wolves' Clan Camp (northeast of Plundered Mine; where Vyka is found), and a small unmarked camp just west of Cloud Ruler Temple.

Skyrim bandits come in two varieties:

  • Skyrim Bandit: The standard bandit. These wear arctic fur armor and are armed with random weapons; they carry food, potions and poisons, and a few lockpicks. They range from L5 to L17 (PC -3 to PC +3).
  • Skyrim Hunter/Huntress: These bandits are archers. They too wear arctic fur armor and are armed with a random melee weapon along with an arctic bow and silver arrows. They carry the same items as other bandits, and range from L5 to L17 (PC -3 to PC +3).
