Mauren Ferroul is a Dark Elf commoner who was accused of murdering his wife, Sahaula, and executed; his restless spirit can be found in the Ferroul Family Crypt, praying for forgiveness from his ancestors. If you encounter him, he'll ask you to capture his wife's spirit in a bottle as revenge for his situation. If you ask for mercy for Mauren instead, you'll get his curse, in which case you'll be forced to spend eternity as a ghost when you die. Later, you'll be given the opportunity to lift the curse and have Mauren forgiven.

Mauren wears a torn cloth garment and turban, along with braided leather sandals.
