Walkthrough[edit]

If you gain entrance to the Silver Mine and try to use the well there, you'll encounter a treasure hunter who jumped down to avoid the undead and can't get back out. You'll receive a quest marker pointing toward a ladder (it's nearby, if you have them turned off); return to the well with it and activate the well to place it inside. She'll climb out and give you 700 gold as a reward.

Journal Entries[edit]

In the Well (ODDNQBrunnenQuest)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 When I tried to drink from a well, I discovered a woman who apparently stuck at the bottom. She said she had gone down there to avoid some undead. I have to help her out of there. Maybe there is a ladder or a rope somewhere. Anything I can do to help her out of there.
20 I found a ladder. Now I can help the woman out of the well.
30 I set the ladder in the well, so the woman who was accidentally trapped down there can get up again.
40 Finishes quest☑ The treasure hunter thanked me for my help and gave me some gold as a reward.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDNQBrunnenQuest stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
