Find the trader Gothian's hidden wealth.
Quest Giver: None
Location(s): None
Reward: Gothian's treasure
ID: ODDDesertSchatzsuche2

Walkthrough[edit]

This quest triggers when you find Gothian's journal, which is hidden behind his bed upstairs in his shop. It tells of a massive treasure he's gained from making trade deals. First, you'll need to find his map - it's tucked behind the tapestry in his shop, behind the counter. This will give you a quest marker which points to a trapdoor leading to an underground chamber full of loot, including a Golden Chalice.

Beyond the Sands (ODDDesertSchatzsuche2)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 I found out that the dealer Gothian has buried his riches in the sand. I just have to figure out exactly where.
20 I found a description where the treasures of the trader Gothian are located. Apparently Gothian was afraid he wouldn't find the spot again himself. Now I just need to follow the marker.
30 Finishes quest☑ I've found the trader Gothian's wealth.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDDesertSchatzsuche2 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
