The Mysterious Bosmer

The Mysterious Bosmer is a horse thief camping just north of the Bruma Stables along with two hidden accomplices. He only appears during the related quest.

Once you approach the camp, which features a few tents, a wooden dining table and a suspicious number of horses, he will immediately intercept you: "Errm, hello. What brings you here, of all places?"

If you lie that you're admiring the views, he sees right through you: "No, of course you're not. Don't play me for a fool. What's your real reason for coming all the way out here?" If you then tell him you're looking for some horse thieves, he muses: "Oh, really, now? That's... interesting. Very interesting. Almost as interesting as, say, rotmeth. I love a good mug of rotmeth. In fact, why don't we- "NOW! GET HER/HIM!"" At this point he will attack you, backed up by his suddenly-appeared accomplices.

He wears leather armor, gauntlets and boots, as well as a black Nibenese mage hood. He is armed with two steel swords and also carries a random selection of gold, lockpicks, rings, food and drink.
