Vienele mixes medicines searching for a cure

Vienele is a Breton healer and Assistant Ranger of the Rangers Guild; she is in charge of Guild's work in the Imperial City Arboretum and its wildlife. She is staying at The Arboretum Hotel so she can be closer to her work.

Vienele wears a ranger's cloak, leather bracers, and leather boots; she carries an apple and some venison, along with an Apprentice-level mortar and pestle and alembic. She is armed with a fine steel short sword.

Vienele rises every morning at 8am and spends an hour at her desk mixing up potions before she goes to the Hotel bar to eat breakfast for an hour. After that, she returns to her room to continue her work all day until 8pm, when she eats dinner for another hour. She squeezes in a little more work before going to bed at 10pm.

She owns the largest room in The Arboretum Hotel, which she shares with her wolf. She uses the room as a living space and work area; it has a large bed, a bearskin rug, two sets of shelves (which she uses for ingredient storage), and an armoire, chest of drawers, and a chest for storage. She does most of her work at a large desk that's cluttered with papers, alchemical items, and whatever else she happens to be working on at any given moment.

As the Arboretum's caretaker, Vienele is quite busy, and resents interruptions of her time: "I don't mind a brief distraction, but I really must be getting back to work soon. Taking care of the Arboretum is hard work, but someone has to do it." If you're a fellow Rangers Guild member, she'll be a little friendlier: "Ahh, a fellow Ranger! Come to see the beauty that is the Arboretum?"
