The entry room for the Checkpoint

The Imperial Legion Checkpoint is located in the Imperial City Waterfront Tunnel, just inside the gate to the Temple District.

The entrance opens into the ready room, where the guards can train. This checkpoint is manned by Seijfrid Quillus, who stands behind a counter near the door all day. He currently has a job posting for anyone interested in killing some rats (see below).

A hallway at the rear of the room leads back to the guards' quarters. The first door is a common room with half a dozen bunks; the second is a single room for the captain of the watch, and the third is a gathering/dining room where the guards can sit and eat or simply relax when they're off-duty.

A door at the end of the hallway leads to the basement, which is largely empty except for a furnace used for getting rid of trash and diseased vermin.
