I have a week and a half more of exams, and then I'll have a fair amount more time over the following month to dedicate to the project, which I intend to finish in its entirety over the coming break. Sorry I've been a bit removed from the Forums due to real life commitments of late, but I have not forgotten, nor abandoned the House or the Forums :mrgreen:.

I'm more of a thief and warrior type. In my opinion, magic, especially in Morrowind, is kinda clumsy. I'd take fast-acting weapons over hand motions and magic any day if I was in a tight situation.

This seems like fun, are then any requirements for joining Hlaalu or can i just sign up? I've played the latest three TES games and MW was by far my favorite. I'm also pretty versed in TES lore.

In every single play through of Morrowind that I have done, I always picked House Hlaalu no matter what. I have completed so many quests for them I lost count.

Yeah, sorry for being a little flakey lately Veets, I haven't forgotten our conversation but. It's good to hear from you though Xibir, and I'm glad you're still interested. I sent out some PMs a while back, but a few of our old regulars don't seem to be around at the moment. I've been somewhat busy with uni stuff recently (admissions and that sort of administrative jazz), but I'll try and finish and post my submission for the last project we were working on soonish (my birthday is right around the corner too, so I am still going to be a little occupied). I'll also talk to some other folks and see who I can find. AD might still be interested in House Dagoth, if you're interested.

If you guys have any ideas for activities or other projects, I'd love to hear them too. :mrgreen:

Certainly am interested in restoring the Houses. I feel terrible for my inactivity, but life happens. Speaking of life, a preemptive happy birthday, Duruza! As for ideas, I have a few from back-when that may help spark some life back into things. I much rather focus on getting the Houses restored first before getting into event planning.

I honestly think that roleplays would bring more attention to these groups, since roleplaying is a big part of the UESP forums.

I was shocked to find that my dedicated forum was still up and running, although very void of activity...Here it is, from Sat 24 Mar 2012, 12:06 am, the Shadows of Sithis campaign,,,

Vvardenfell has been destroyed by the massive eruption of Red Mountain. After years, settlers and nobles have ventured back onto the ruined island in search of riches. Thieves, bandits, and killers have come to take them. They are all but prey.

Although the island was destroyed by the blast and wildfires, there were those who remained underground, hidden in caves, residing in tombs, and whatever structure was still standing. The vampires have thrived in the ruined Vvardenfell, and Solstheim remains quarantined.

Word has reached the mainland: Nobles have disappeared, bandits found grotesquely slaughtered within their hideouts. The Imperial Legion has recalled their deployed and have placed outposts and remaining forts in lock down status. The Temple and Imperial Cult missionaries are hastily returning home. Ships journeying to Solstheim are ordered to turn back, or be destroyed.

The intelligence from Vvardenfell is limited, and communication with Solstheim is lost. There is no confirmation of what is happening, just the rantings and horror stories from "survivors". The Emperor has ordered a rallying of adventurers in Mournhold. He promises great fortune, but grave danger as well. This is all the public decree states.

While I had altered this to work for individual players, it was designed to have the Houses competing for dominance over the islands once again. However, there are some new challenges presented.

1) Vvardenfell is basically a wasteland. The geography of areas has changed as well as the overall habitat. The island is almost unrecognizable.

2) The vampiric Houses are now the power of Vvardenfell and must be confronted amongst the presence of the other Great Houses.

3) Any city that was once standing has either been literally wiped off the map or a ghost of its former self, barely resembling what it once was. Civil development would be a priority in order to repopulate the island and challenged by the previous mentioned points.

4) There isn't any true Imperial presence on the island of Vvardenfell and Solestheim has long been cut off from the rest of Tamriel.

That's the basic gist. Details of course can be dicussed and things altered, this is just the basis.

Hello all! I'd definitely like to get involved with these House Faction roleplays, and was wondering if anything or any events were happening currently or soon, or even still in the works. I'd love to help out. Also, it seems to me that House Hlaalu is the most recently active, so I figure this is the best place to volunteer.

Welcome SMU! :mrgreen: Stay tuned for more information to come (I'm currently a little tied up in the process of serious job hunting - fun :|), but for now you might want to check out or ever-going survey and share some of your own experiences and opinions about the House as it was realised in-game.

Your RP certainly sounds like it could be very interesting Xibir. I believe the current forum procedure of RPs is that they have to be approved by Musicman, so I'd contact him via PM about it if you want to set it up.
