I've only read the 4e rules, if they are similar enough count me in.

No feats? Eh, I know the basics, and the holes can be filled in as we play, any major differences I'll work out when my character is done.

So whats the virtual tabletop like? do we all "sign" in to one place and it figures it out, or is it a program we have to download or?

2e?!? Oh Tymora, why? :o

I don't have the patience or the motivation to play a real-time, online pnp game, especially not "Mormon rules" D&D, but if you've really got your heart set on dark ages gaming, I've got a massive collection of source books available in .pdf format. Funnily enough, I JUST finished transferring a few gigs worth of them to my backup drive not five minutes ago! Coincidence...?

The collection includes the core guides, a couple MManuals, Complete Class collection, Vile Darkness/ Exalted Deeds, and a few rarer supplements, like Psionics, Necromancers, and the Epic Level Guide. I'm know I've got some more kicking around somewhere, too, like the Ravenloft, Planescape, and Spelljammer setting guides. I'd throw a bunch of 'em on Megaupload, but, ehhhh, you know.

Sweet. It has been many moons since I played D&D. I am grossly rusty.

How do you actually intend to carry this out though, given distance and time? I either missed it very obviously (and I can, since I'm a s'wit) or you neglected it. Enlighten me, Kessie.

This is a really cool idea! I would be really interested in joining, and I have D&D experience (3.5 and 4). How often would sessions occur?

I'll join!

Just a question:

What scenario are we playing in? Forgotten Realms?

Also, I'm used to playing Neverwinter Nights, which is kinda a video game version of D&D.

Should I be aware of any changes.

I'm absolutely interested as well and possess experience as to most editions of the pen-and-paper game.

Hmm, maybe I better do some research, or go find a server playing Greyhawk, so I can get some insight on the lore.

Although, I probably won't join.

I've one initial query, though further concerns shall surely arise; is chat integrated into the referenced program 'Roll20'?
