^Last time I ran into a mercenary I also failed to convince her to tell me where she was going but instead of following her I just impaled her through the gut.

Dear Diary: Today, or rather, yesterday, in Skyrim, I was looking for something to do after doing all the quests I felt like doing, so I did what any sane man would do. Go on a killing spree. I wandered around Skyrim, smashing skulls, severing heads, burninating the peasants and the country side, killed a dragon with a mace, that sort of thing, until my killing spree was unexpectedly cut short by my worst enemy... Mages. Now, it might seem a bit hypocritical to be insulting them for their cowardice, considering I enjoy the occasional burning and electrocuting everything, but I feel this needs saying... Stop freezing me. It's bloody annoying. That was the end of my province-wide killing spree, and I proceeded to turn off my PS3, and go watch a movie with my family. All that time during the brief gathering of kin, I found myself thinking... Why didn't I just Fus Ro Dah the miserable mage? So, as soon as the film ended, I went back to my game, and restarted my killing spree. This time, I was ready. The mage froze me, I yelled, and... I missed completely. Die, reload game, resist overwhelming urge to crawl into the television set with a rifle and just shoot the stupid elf in the face.

I killed an elder dragon that jumped me in Riften (I had no idea they can attack when you are in a city.) It involved shouting, stabbing and having my imperial buddies shoot arrows at him. 2 beggers got killed by the dragon, it is a real shame. Then after the fight a guard came up to me and told me to stop shouting in the city. I just saved everyone from a dragon and now its "Don't use your super powers to save the city you are scaring the children."

I was in a Dwemer ruin earlier today, cleaning out some people at the behest of a Daedric prince. I won't say which, that'll spoil it. Anyway, I was in the final area of the (massive) city, mining some gold ore that I'd found, and I became aware of a clanking noise in the background. Dwemer ruins often make strange noises so I didn't think anything of it. As I was mining away, though, it dawned on me - aren't those noises getting louder? They almost sound a bit like footsteps ...

Oh crap.

On the plus side I've got a new centurion dynamo core to add to my collection.

I was a lvl 6 completing dungeons with Lydia the Housecarl and suddenly BAM! Lydia flies across the room with an arrow stuck in her chest I go to where she is crouched in that weird 'Should-be-dead' thing' and an arrow whistles past my Khajiit archer's left ear! I turned and looked into the the face of a draugr deathlord.

Needless to say my Close range unarmed combat with Gloves of the Pugilist did f*** all...

I came upon a dragon sleeping on the word wall at his aerie. I crouched, took aim with my Overpowered Ebony bow and made sure I had all my archery-increasing gear on: Sneak attacked him for 3x, and he flew Straight up in the air, circled around once, then crashed down on the ground in front of the word wall, DEAD.

I have also done this with a bow with Paralysis on it, they do the same: fly straight up, circle, then land on the ground, PARALYZED at that point. So weird.

Imagine a peaceful looking town. Now imagine one Elder Dragon wreaking havoc. Now imagine two Elder Dragons wreaking havoc.

Never had a double Elder Dragon attack inside a town/city. I think everyone knows what happened.

I also had an intense fight with an Ice Dragon in a Forsworn camp earlier today. The dragon was attacking everything that moved but the Forsworn only wanted to finish me off... Bad AI is bad (and I mean it in the evil sense). :?

I trolled the hawk above Solitude. Meaning: I shot it down. I wish I hadn't. Kind of sad. On the other hand, I was climbing the throat of the world and I saw a dragon flying around below the sunset...I was listening to some really emotional music through my headphones at the time and...It was just beautiful.

I had a running battle with an Ancient dragon at Lost Valley Redoubt, crossfire between little old me, the Forsworn, and the dragon. Eventually, after about 20 minutes of dodging arrows and tempests of dragon frost, all the Forsworn and Hagravens were dead, a battle which included a rather awesome shot that planted a poisoned ebony arrow right through a Briarheart's namesake. The ancient dragon was almost at the point where it had to land. I sprinted to the planks of Bard's Leap summit, And the dragon appeared before me, hovering. I was almost dead, out of magika and almost out of health. It opened it's maw for the killing blast of frost. I loosed an iron arrow straight into it's gullet. Critical hit, staggering the dragon, luckily. It ceased it's attack, falling from the sky to the ground far below. Taking a deep breath, I dived after it, falling hundreds of feet and splashing into the shallow water inches from a jagged rock. I emerged from the pool, looking like a half dead drowned rat. The dragon opened it's black smeared orange and red and gold mouth. "Yol!" My little Bosmer screamed in desperation. The fire gave me a long enough respite to heal up, as my magicka had returned a little bit. Two more minutes of hastily launched arrows and daring dives behind rocks to hide from the killing frost. Damn! The Wyrm had barely a alive if health left, and I was out if arrows! Steeping myself, I sprinted into the open. "Fus!" I screamed fleetingly, hoping to gain a split second I needed to finish it. The dragon recoiled, and I drew my axe. Light as a feather, I jumped onto it's neck, hacking at it's great, ugly, orange head. Finally, I dived off. The great wyvern let out a last, anguished cry, and collapsed into the great pool at the headwaters of the Karth. Standing bloody, weary, I was bathed in golden light. Dragon soul absorbed. I chuckled wearily, pocketing the 293 Septims and 2 dragon scales. That might cover about half the expense of refilling on potions, I thought ruefully. I looked up at the switchbacking stairs leading to the summit. I hadn't had the chance to learn from the worldwall I had so fleetingly noticed. With a weary sigh, I started climbing.

After , my loyal stormcloak, mead swillin' Nord collected his gold from Commander Maro and was offended by the Imperial POS's buddy buddy tone so gave him a daedric battleaxe to the face. His essential NPCness wouldn't allow him to be killed so he kept coming at me. The fight went uphill from Dragon Bridge and, eventually, I got tired of the whole thing so shouted him off of the cliff... right into a Stormcloak camp :)

So I'm in my house in Markarth, minding my own business. I pick up a bucket, wanting to see if I could successfully set it over my housecarl's head. Nothing major. For some reason my husband gets upset, and unsheaths his bow and starts firing arrows at my housecarl. I back off, watching the two men fight.

I might add that my husband is now murdering the hired help, and still hasn't given me any cooked meals, and doesn't sleep by my side at night. I think a trip to Azura's shrine with him might be in order.... :Twisted Evil:

Edited to add: My housecarl had enough, and my husband lies dead near the bookshelves in my home. Now what? Can I get re-married?

I'm afraid you can't. Don't know why. Probably a limitation in the quest system. RIP Dovahkiness' husband, slayer of bucket-wearers.

I don't know if this counts as a story or a bug or what, but yesterday I spent ten minutes or so running from and occasionally killing an angry giant down in Blackreach. I don't know why there was a giant in Blackreach, or why he felt the need to defend the path he was lumbering along on his own, but like I said it took me ten minutes to finally kill him. Fun.

Those giants are awful cranky. I met one unfortunately and used my whirlwind sprint to get outta his way real fast. Good thing his goat thought I smelled good, it followed me all the way home ;)

Possibly. My housecarl was ignoring him as he was repeatedly firing arrows into this knee (snicker) and head. I removed the bucket, told him to follow me and after the conversation he instantly drew weapon and ran over and killed my husband.

After that, the courier notified me I received an inheritance. Then after THAT, hired thugs attempted to kill me. My my, what an eventful day.

o.o On my mage one day I decided to gather corpses, starting with wolves then bandits then trolls and frost trolls so I could traverse the world with a legion of undead minions via the Ritual. Spent hours getting them, moving them into piles with fireball or dragging them into circles gradually then waiting a day when using them against various enemies to increase my hoard. Went into a barrow and encountered a dragon priest, added him and his enchanted ghostly sword draugrs to my hoard..then I took them to the College of Winterhold thinking it'd be the perfect place to store a bunch of corpses.

Sometime later I came back to re-ritual the army of 20 but they were all alive and fighting with the mages! The mages even took the enchanted weapons off of the draugr corpses and were using them to kill the mixture-the dragon priest also had a duplicate mask and stave on him even though I originally took them from his corpse. O-o It was hilarious but partially saddening and disappointing to find out that dead things will 'respawn' themselves wherever you put their corpses, I'd also lost a few of the bodies because the conjuration guy used some of them as servants so there were misc ash piles at the end of it.

On my dinky little Bosmeri archer lass, all stamina, no health, I decided to challenge myself and take on Saarthal at level 35 with nothing but an apprentice robe and a silver sword. It took me 45 minutes to take down this one Draugr Scourge Deathlord. I came within inches if death at the hands of that big ol Ebony greatsword more times than I can count. Clever use of unrelenting force, dodging, sprinting, and torches finally brought me, exhausted and bloody, to victory. Whoo. Sprinted back to Riften to get the flawless Forsworn bow and epic Nord Hero axe, and my fur armour.

Doing Volunruund with my 39 Dunmer Jack-Of-All Trades with Mjoll and came across my first Draugr Deathlord, who had a Draugr Scourge body guard. I run up and slice 1/3 of the scourge hp with a power attack, get FUS RO DA'd by the deathlord across the room, and then die by an arrow to the knee.
Take 2: Tell Mjoll to wait, assasinate the scourge, freeze the deathlord with ice form, summon a frost atronarch, and turn a 2v2 into a 3v1, and get an ebony bow with some ebony arrows for my trouble
Another time, i decided to sneak up on some bandits to assasinate them for fun. But lo and behold, the one i attacked 1st was a bandit chief *dont ask em why i didnt notice the ebony armor, and 2 bandit *marauders or plunderers, i forgot* I immediatly summon a frost atronarch, use Unrelenting force to send them flying, getting time for a few dual-casted firebolts. Then they get up and I lose almost all of my health to a power attack, and I heal and run away, after i managed to do that, BOOM, slow time, slice the head of one, hack another into pieces, and spam dual casted firebolts to fry the chief

I had two blood dragons attack while I was in a Giants camp. Unfortunately I couldn't count on the giants to help in the smack down of the dragons. I had already killed them. As I was shouting them to the ground and readying my skyforge steel sword, A trumpeting bellow from a mammoth was a sirens song to my helm covered ears. Letting Shadowmere gallop into the fight, I jumped behind some boulders and released a volley of arrows. Those fuzzy beasts galumphed into the fray, vicious tusks lashing at scales. One by one those dragons fell from the sky, to their forever home as a pile of bones. I absorbed not one, but TWO souls, as I ran heckbent the opposite direction of the mighty upset mammoth! Foolishly giddy, I checked my health and magic while counting my blessings I was alive. Taking a gander at the sky I acquainted myself with my compass and made ready to hop on my Shado--...Where's my steed?

My poor warhorse was still fighting with the hormonally unbalanced mammoth. His squeals and unearthly whinnies grated on my soul, I ran closer and readied my mind and heart with the shout I'd scream...I sent the mammoth rolling. Before the clumsy beast could right herself I lept close, with a two handed grip on my greatsword I lashed upward, straight through the throat. Hot blood sprayed all over my steel armor, and I fell back upon the tundra ground.

A whiskered muzzle poked my face, checking to see if I was still alive. Good Ol' horse. ready as ever to gallop wherever I ask and fight ruthlessly for my defense.

The Mythic Dawn quest was really fun for me. At the part where Mehrunes Dagon told me to kill the museum-guy, I bluntly refused. This angered ol' Mehrunes and he decided to summon two angry-looking Dremoras to fight me. The museum-guy ran away, and here I was, on the top of a snowy mountain with blade-wielding dremoras charging me head on!

Well, the fight was pretty anti-climatic, and lasted about three seconds. I got them both to face me, and before they could even slash their swords, I used FUS RO DAH on them, and shot them backwards off the mountain. I grinned and watched them tumble all the way down the mountain to their deaths.

It was a great moment.

So I wandered alongside a giant I found coming down a path near Windhelm. I met a cow running away from him and assumed that he had killed the cow's owner. I walked with him nearly to the outskirts of Windhelm just to see what he'd do, at which point I switched back into first person and ran slightly ahead. I heard his thumping footsteps cease from the speakers behind me, and looked around to find he had mysteriously disappered. What a way to repay my companionship.
