Did the funniest thing today. Was in Whiterun, talked to the Clan Gray-Mane who are stormcloak supporters (I joined imp legion, won the civil war, ulfric is dead) and they said their son, a stormcloak soldier, was in captive. So I tried to murder the Gray-Mane family because I hated stormcloak supporters, but they all dropped to one knee (They couldn't be killed; they were essential) So i Went to Plan B:

The quest is called "Missing In Action". The Gray-Mane's son was being held captive by the Thalmor (I don't know how the Thalmor got their hands on him) but as an Imperial Man, the stormcloaks and Thalmor are my enemies. So I raided the Thalmor fort, murdered every Thalmor. Found their boy, freed him up, then killed him. (Because he's a stormcloak!)

Then, in a big banner across my screen, it says "MISSING IN ACTION: FAILED".

I lol'd, silly stormcloaks! You can't beat the legion!

(I also went back to the Gray-Mane clan house to tell them I murdered their son but sadly the dialogue option was not available  )

Use spoiler tags. Even though it's a fairly insignificant side quest some people want to find these things out themselves.

Loredas, 29th of Last Seed, 4E 201; from the journal of Eola, Bosmer Assassin

On my journey to Ivarstead, I came across a bear, mighty beast. It was roaring at something down below the cliff. I didn't see it at first, but it soon became apparent that I was besieged by eight-legged monstrosities out of hell. I prepped my bow, and took aim. The [&@%!] kept moving too swiftly. I couldn't get a lock on them. Slowly, but surely, the three monsters besieging us fell. And at last, my attention turned to one of the two remaining in the area. The bear. It had gotten up on it's hind legs, preparing to knock me off to cliff and to my certain death. I strung my bow, let loose a volley of arrows, and I skinned the beast and left not a piece of it left to be wasted. How could I leave it to rot after it had alerted me to the presence of a hunter far more nefarious than itself..and I?

The guards indeed Locked the cell
Of an Argonian who just wanted stuff to sell.
But when the warden Walked 'Round,
No prisoner she found.
In the light of Dawn the very next Morn,
The guards were arranged neatly in a trail to the door.
The alarm was raised, the search went for days.
But none who went after returned.

It's funny how you can have good days and bad days playing a game. Yesterday, I posted about how I was having trouble getting to the summit of The Throat of the World, in order to obtain a certain object. I must have spent close to an hour spamming the Jump Button and making headway that could be measured in snowflake-widths. In the end, I failed to reach my objective.

Today, I tried again. My character practically levitated up the sheer rock faces, and I arrived at my destination in a matter of minutes. :o I guess the old arrow-in-the-knee wound was acting up yesterday.

Hurray!

Met Maiq the Liar and had a pleasant chat with him.

Then a dragon attacks. Maiq runs off and I fight the dragon. When I kill it, he returns.

"It is dead, yes, but where did it come from?" Maiq remarks.

I've discovered that treasure hunting - especially doing the quest 'Lost Legends' - is very bad for your health. And that of your companion.

I wanted to see if I could lead two giants to Whiterun Stables. Result? Skulvar and his son Jervar laid their lives down in defense of their stables. With them and the combined forces of myself and my companion, we slew the two giants.

I looted the two brave Nords and placed their naked bodies on the wagon you use to fast travel, as a symbolic symbol that "their souls are now being transported to Sovengarde". I wonder if they'll be there forever. Would be creepy to use the wagon now...

Oh, and a dragon attacked Riverwood. Luckily no one was killed, much to my relief as it seems that whenever Riverwood's attacked in other people's games, Alvor dies.

I turn on the game, not realizing my little brother had played after I went to work last night, and lo and behold! The first thing I see when it loads is Lydia with a bag over her head(executioner hood). I tried very hard not to spit the water I was drinking out.

Orgnolf's Journal

I sat looking at the slum that is Riverwood. Half its citizens are dead. Lucan, owner of Riverwood Trader, was killed by an assasin. Faendal, Hod and Sigrid died when a vampire attacked the town. Hadvar, who failed to save the citizens, sits alone in the tavern alone, away from his dad. Alvor spends all day sitting at his forge, barely making enough to feed his daughter. Sven, my old partner, joined the legion with me. He is in Sovengarde now. His mother, Hilde, sits at home remembering her lost son.

The village is in ruins everywhere I look I hear insults from the citizens; they blame me. Riverwood lays there, weak and destroyed, one small attack and it will be gone. The guards are too incompetent to realize this but im their only hope.
