What's more insane than meeting up with yourself? :P I have yet to actually visit ol' Sheo, but the Lore implication I am guessing at, is that becoming Sheogorath 'erased' the Champion of Cyrodiil from Tamriel, although perhaps not from history. Convenient actually.

And also had severe physical disadvantages...

The good thing about playing as men in that case is the fact that it makes for a lot less lore mix-up if you just rolepla as a descendant.
