I fast traveled a lot in Oblivion. Too much. I'm going to try to play without in in Skyrim, but since I hate riding horses (Dismounting to fight is so lame) I'll probably be doing a lot of walking. Maybe a carriage from time to time.

If carriage wasn't just like fast travel I would do that, walking instead.

How about an "All of the above" option, because that's what I'm going to do, and I'm sure I'm not alone on that account.

I would probably stroll around everywhere. Look at all the details...

Then end up analysing the graphics engine. >.>

First time round, I'll more than likely walk everywhere. The whole scale of the game can be missed if you're quickly teleporting around everywhere, and with so much to see and discover the trips themselves should be highly entertaining. I'll still resort to quick travel from time to time when I'm looting a dungeon and need to get to and from my house to drop stuff off quickly.

I do appreciate there being a carriage system, because they would enable me to get to exactly where I need to be far sooner on future playthroughs, once I'm more familiar with the world and it's layout.

During the first weeks I'll probably walk or ride a horse everywhere.
But I'll still use fast travel :D

I will mix things, but I too think I'm a bit too dependant on fast-travelling.

I'm going to do what I did in Oblivion: walk from town to town, hit all the unexplored points along the roads, and only then will I fast travel between towns. Or I might not fast travel during my first playthrough. We'll see. :)

Likely, I'll just go ignore the MQ and just do whatever I want first time around.

I plan to go full mage and journey up to the College of Winterhold.

Definitely all of the above. I would like to say I won't use fast travel but that would be like most of my New Years resolutions, it goes very well at first and then I think Ag I'm in a rush so I'll just do it once and before you know it I'm hopping all over the place.

I will walk everywhere, I don't want to miss out on something in the land that I would have otherwise missed by fast traveling. Especially hearing how there are so many more points of interest all throughout the map.

I'll probably use everything apart from Fast Travel. Mainly walking and horse-riding, but I'll save the carriages for a special occasion or if my character is feeling lazy.

I wll travel on foot.

I did this in Oblivion and I like it. You encounter enemies, gain experience, loot, athletics increase, you see the world, ... I have never fast-traveled, only rarely on horseback

In Morrowind I used means of transport if I could, but traveled on foot too. You just can't get everywhere by "fast-travel" (boat, teleport, silt-strider), you have to tarvel a lot on your own. I like it.

Makes you wish for a beefy mountain-goat.

I will walk most of the game, until i have a horse, but ill try the carriages every so often for roleplay purpose, and fast travel when i need to do something in RL asap and need to make sure im safe.

Here and there, this and that.. it really depends on how much time I have when I am playing. If I just want to do something and I have to be somewhere (as in IRL) then I will be more likely to fast travel. If I have a lot of time to play then I'll more than likely go by foot. Pretty much the same way I did in previous Bethesda games.

I'll only use fast travel if I'm trying to finish it before another game comes out (which I doubt any will). Once I start a game, I have to finish. D:>
