When you get Skyrim, what do you plan on doing?

I will first try to get an accurate dragon-born version of myself (hours will be lost here).
Secondly I’m going to quickly accommodate myself to Skyrim’s controls (Hopefully it’s just like oblivion).
Thirdly I’m going to slow down and try to take the game slowly and not rush through the main quest in Oblivion. (Witch I finished in 9 hours of real time).

Just wanting to know what most people are planning on doing in Skyrim when they obtain it.

My mage is going to find a library.
My warrior is going to find a chance to be a hero.
My assassin is going shopping.

I'll probably run into town and immediately try to murder everyone I see. Just to see what happens.

I'll ignore all quests at first and focus on getting my skills up.
They key to power and wealth has been alchemy and enchanting in previous TES games, so thats what I'll be checking out first.

Catch a few butterflies, make some rabbit stew, and camp out to celebrate my freedom.

I guess I'll just explore the possibilities a little, and do some minor quests.
Then, probably with a different character, I'll do a lot of stuff, including the main quest.
Then, with another character, I'll take over Skyrim. :)

At first i'm not ashamed to say I will nerdgasm.
Then after I escape from prison i'm going to enjoy my freedom, and until I find riverwood, survive off the land, even if that does means eating bee wings.

My Khajiit thief will go get drunk. After that, and possibly after some time getting to 'know' the locals, she'll wander off to save the world...if she doesn't get distracted by the Thieves Guild.

Nord Blacksmith will go find a quiet village or small town to live, set up shop, scout out the surrounding mines, make some armour/weapons, then head to the tavern and get drunk. Repeat from 'set up shop'.

Dunmer assassin will go in search of the Dark Brotherhood. Not sure what else I'm going to do with him.

Dunmer mage will go to the College of Winterhold, but may make a few side-trips along the way in order to try and find Daedric Shrines.

After the first 57 hours of making my character and doing the tutorial dungeon, I will jump in a lake and see the physics at work, once I get dragged into a town I will save and murder everyone there, and steal everything there, that way I can see what it is like :) After I load back up I will talk to all the townsfolk, go get drunk, waste all my money and giving the bard money for songs and buying beer, and than start a bar fight.

Afterwards I will probably go do some exploring, or do some of the guilds. My first character will be a warrior type so probably only going to join Companions, as for main quest he will join the Stormcloaks as I heard they are all Nords while the other is all the other races, him being a Nord he should probably help his people..

Will kinda continue the story of my Ranger, and reclaim his blade, Eshkar (By forging of course). He was an elf, but I'll have it be he was poisoned, so he reincarnated 200 years later when the dragons return. I'll probably have him reincarnate as an Imperial or Dark Elf (He was a Bosmer).

I'll need to make him a bow, that fits a ranger this game. Kinda didn't answer the questions though.

I'll head into a thief den and bring my unbridled wrath down upon them!

Go to the top of a mountain and stare at the bask in the beauty and greatness of everything. Then go to the first settlement, sell everything I will have picked up on the way and visit the merchants. Repeat in every settlement. I will ignore every kind of quest until I will be level 10, and just explore the whole world, possibly finding all of the 13 Standing Stones, all of the dungeons. And I'll count how many times I'll get killed. I'll be wearing light armour during this time and using double swords/sword and spell/bow. At level ten join the College and do the quests only using magic, sometimes using a sword. Not starting the Thieves Guild until I have Sneak, Lockpicking and Pickpocketing at at least 50, and same thing with the DB plus Archery. The Companions will have to wait 'till I have Light armour and One-handed at 100, as I want to do their quests with heavy armour and 2H sword. Not really sure when I'll do the Main quest, maybe somewhere in between, but surely after level 10. Yeah, can't wait!

After spending 40 hours in character creation, customizing every race, every gender, getting a feel of who i want to play as, i'll go do the bleak falls barrow quest, just to get it out of the way because i've seen it so many times.

After that, i'll probably just play, do whatever i feel like at that time. I don't usually plan for games like this, because once you actually start playing, you're just in awe. It's hard to think when your so freakin' overwhelmed by this game.

You're like, "Now time to go find that College... Oh hey, a butterfly! *chases*".

or at least that's how it plays out for me. :)

First, I'll spend three hours in character creation. :p After the tutorial, I'll mosey on over to the nearest town, stab a beggar in the throat for lulz (and to see if I'll hear "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM"), reload to avoid being arrested, and then I'll just...wander around, I guess. See the sights. Kill some wolves. Whatever I feel needs to be done. 8D

I just hope that I experience that feeling I got the first time I ever inserted Oblivion into my console.

I got through the dungeon after a few tries and even though my character was probably horribly created, exited the sewers for the first time.

Thats when I fell in love, for I honestly felt like I was dropped into a completely other world. I love how I didnt know the land, and wandered around like a complete foreigner.
