For those that don't know, Sanctuary is scifi show on SyFy that deals with the main cast interacting with creatures.

The most recent episode (Awakening) had a cool reference to The Elder Scrolls. They pretty much just used the Daedric alphabet for the writing on the walls of an ancient vampire layer. And it wasn't just a small thing that's hard to notice, they had a lot of clear shots of just the writing, so that if anyone wanted it'd be easy to translate (though I doubt it actually spells anything). I thought it was pretty cool that some stuff from one of my favorite games was being used on a cable TV series.

Is that the show with the bird out of stargate? because I use to watch the one I'm thinking of quite a bit last year...not really sure why I stopped....
anyway, that is quite a neat thing you noticed, though are you like positive it was Daedric writing? or just something that looked like it?
If it is, well, that is very amusing and pretty strange I must say :P

I also should really catch up with that show, I remember it being pretty good....

I thought it was just something familiar until I saw the daedric O. They had the symbols right side up and upside down, but if you know what the daedric letters look like it's clearly them. And they had a lot close ups so it was easy to see.

I haven't been able to find any vids with the writing, but I did manage to find one small snip-it that look very Daedric:
I can't make out more than the B E C on the right

It's hard to make out much on that picture. I want a better picture!
Reading Daedric is fun.

But the biggest column, that's definitely an A at the bottom so it says BECA.

There's one scribble that I'm having trouble identifying as a Daedric letter, I actually had to check the Daedric page for it
It looks like a deformed or an upside down

Grabbed a high quality screenshot from the episode: http://i62.photobucketDOTcom/albums/h10 ... ctuary.jpg (Apparently I can't put in non-Elder Scrolls URL links, so copy the URL and replace the word "DOT" with a period). The third column contains the word "Gust" and the fourth column contains the word "The". You can see more of it in the episode on Hulu, starting at about 9 minutes 45 seconds. Also at 17 minutes 30 seconds and 25 minutes 30 seconds.

Not really, they're not supers. It's about a group of scientists who track down "abnormals" to keep them from harming or being hunted by the general public.
