Hey, i'm new on the forums here, i got Oblivion GOTY for the Xbox 360 a few days ago, and i wanted to have a ''red glow'' around my character, i read that the drain effects aren't permanent, but damage is, When i enchant a ring or clothing with drain skill, it has the red effect, but when i wait some hours, or fasttravel or go to certain place, it dissapears and i have to hotkey it and keep eqquiping and equipping, and the damage one doesn't has any red glow at all! is there any enchantment that glows red and that's permanent? Thanks in advance.. :D

I thought the point was to make the baddies have a "red glow". I never knew about this effect so I tried it with a shirt enchanted with Drain Personality; it glowed red too. When I traveled, the red glow disappeared. I guess because no further damage from the enchantment happened. I made a ring with Fire damage and the glow was stronger .... until it killed me.
Let us know what you learn about this.

I tested fire, it only has a fire effect, also a very intresting thing.. If you want your armor in fire, then enchant a ring or necklace with desintegrate armor, then equip it and the armor piece you want, it'll be burning, also.. Damage is permanent but has no red glow, the desintegrate armor has a strong red glow, for a while then it dissapears and the fire effect begins. I don't know much, but i gotta find one that's permanent. :wat:

Go through a gate. Then, you'll be the only one not glowing red.

LOL good one,
Anyways i found out if you enchant your sword or your weapon with fire damage, it'll give a orange glow, i prefer it than the red one, but actually, if you enchant yourself with fire damage, well... your @$$ will be burned. There's gotta be a way to have this orange glow aswell.

I found out something wierd, the Mythic Dawn agent that kills the emperor has a spell that makes a fire surround him for a while, then the fire dissapears and he's with the orange glow, but i checked their IDS and they don't use any fire spells...
