Wasn't there a stone in the DBH ship? The one that spawns near Solitude?

I don't think the 'DBH Ship' has one.

There's one in The Dainty Sload which sits up near the lighthouse though - and iirc it's accessible regardless of any faction membership.

tbh I just leave the gems alone. Join the 'Thieves Guild'? Pfft.

Besides Quiet Casting, there are no other stealth perks for magic, right? In other words, unlike melee or ranged weapons, there are no stealth bonuses to damage for using destruction magic, correct?

So, basically, bows and crossbows are better for stealthy, ranged attacks than destruction magic is?

Most certainly. Unless you want to set runes as traps that arguably can only kill a very weak enemy or someone already down on their last bit of life

Unless of course you want to blast a blizzard or some over powered spell at a crowd of cannon fodder

Given that, from what I can see, the enemy does not have the AI to avoid the runes that they can actually see, I don't believe that rune magic requires stealth (Ahzidal's armor set, which allows for longer distance runes is actually heavy armor), and of course, most powerful spells, such as Blizzard, aren't very stealthy to begin with.

But the point being, with the silent casting perk, you can place runes without getting caught >_> which for setting a traps for the fodder you'll inevitably be too busy to deal with. Good crowd control.

Also I actually meant Ice Storm XD namely due to how good it is for hitting groups >_> but ya, I guess Blizzard would work too, that is if you can get close enough without getting caught. But personally Lightning Storm seems like the better option, namely for taking out any high level enemies by surprise. Is it sneaky? No, but all you need is one chance and their dead

When making "classes" based on inherent racial skills, I noticed that Bosmer and Khajiit are really similar, like only 1 skill difference. What, did Bethesda just run out of skill combinations at the end? Also, when joining the Volkihar, Orthjolf will have slightly more positive things to say about you, if you are not an elf. That means that he's cool with beast-kin, right?

Because apparently the Remastered edition counts as the original release and needed something to brag about

Hell, while we're at, lets give Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask a "Test of Time" award, ya know, just so that we clear up any misunderstandings while we're at it

Skyrim won a...

I..

*sees that it was a public vote affair* Ah, that's why.

Seriously, Skyrim is now deemed old? I...

Skyrim. The game that was only released just over 4 years ago. Skyrim. The game that got a copy and paste with a mod thrown in remaster. Test of time?

No Oblivion? Morrowind? Oh dear, I just realised what must be happening on the offical forums due to er.... the nature of the fanbase.

Skyrim won the test of time?

Skyrim.

...Personally I dont think any of the TES games stand the best of time, namely when compared to other genres and notable games. Alot of it has less to do with overall graphics and more so on artistic style >_> why else would games with shell shading(Z:Wind Waker, Borderland, ECT) fair so well when more graphic intensive games seem to age so drastically in less than 5years

Just 2 quick questions. First of all, just to confirm, one can safely wear the Diadem of the Savant without disabling Mage Armor, correct? It's perfect jewelry for a mage, so long as it can be used with alteration. Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who posted here: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=25671 However, I cannot seem to find any images of an Argonian wearing the hooded Dunmer outfit (these clothes: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/File:DB-npc-Mirri_Severin.jpg). Could someone please post it (just for me to confirm whether or not it has any head clipping)?

I dont believe it has any head clipping <_< From my experience, most of the hoods seem to fit well with Argonians

Also, to note, if your not the least bit concerned with roleplaying/appearance, you can always pair up an enchanted falmer helmet with a dragon priest mask(or maybe a head piece. Please confirm)

Since my character has a heavy focus into magic(namely magicka regen/boost) for that Restoration use, I dont shy away from every benefit I can get

Should the Civil War pages specify the enchantment on the weapon rewards? I noticed that, while the actual weapon depends on level, the enchantment type is always consistent (magnitude still depends on level, though). For example, Battle for Whiterun always give a fire weapon, and the Battles for either Solitude or Windhelm always gives an absorb health weapon. If you do the Season Unending quest favorably, you will always get a frost weapon.

Save for the helmet, are there any other bugs that I need to look out for in the Falmer armor? Without mods, it seems impossible to get matching set with it, but you can still get well-fitted using another heavy helmet, such as a Dragon Priest mask, right?

I have noticed that some entries on my 'Miscellaneous Quest' list have disappeared.

Join the Legion / Stormcloaks / Companions. Read Eltrys' Note. Speak to Degaine. All gone. And there were probably others. Speak to Degaine was glitched and Read Eltrys' Note I didn't want to do. So good riddance to those two.

Not sure if this is related to ignoring the quest for an extended amount of time or just continuing to do other quests instead. This also doesn't seem to affect the game itself: Eltrys' Note is still listed as a Quest item and I've since been up to Jorrvaskr and the Companions quest-line started as per usual.

It's made the Miscellaneous Quest List look a lot neater though. :D

Well I've never seen it before either. But then I've never had a game on the Xbox last this long before so I'm in uncharted territory here.

These quests that are disappearing - nearly all of them are older than 200 days. So the question is - what's the longest you've left a quest before completing it? Do you have Misc. Quests on your log that you definitely picked up more than 200 days ago?

I notice that Talk to that loser Brynjolf about his lame scheme has also gone. tbh I can't remember if the game gives you a Speak to the Greybeards Misc. Quest after Dragon Rising. If it does then that has vanished as well.

I suppose I'd better take those supplies up to High Hrothgar before that quest times out or something...

I play on PS3, and I don't recall that ever happening to me. Though maybe I just haven't been keeping a close enough eye on my misc quests. Things could keep on disappearing, and I'd have no idea.

http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Stormcloak_Officer_Boots Does the glitch with the Stormcloak Officer boots still occur in the PS4 version of Skyrim? When I equipped a full set, I still got the green aura of the Wind Walker perk. I don't know about the Matching Set perk because I don't have that perk yet.
