Hand-to-hand questions:

I'm planning on starting up a Monk playthrough for some silly reason, and I'm curious how Hand-to-hand compares to regular weapons. Does it break though any of the "needs X or better weapon type" resistances? How well does it scale for damage? Will I end up using a weapon far more than actually punching something?

The bypassing the weapon resistance was the most important thing I needed to know, so definitely thanks to that.
