Sherwood nodded at Icarus' explanation. He still didn't think it sounded very nice, but Dick had a point about his life in comparison; everything was relative.

He replied to the comment Viktor made. "I'd imagine Icarus has had enough people studying his abilities in his life. The man deserves a break, don't you think!”

"Not if they haven't found out how his abilities work." said Viktor. He followed up his statement with a shrug. "Maybe if his father was a better scientist the tests would have ended years ago. According to his son he's not even testing different hypotheses. He doesn't want to find out how his abilities work, he just wants to prove that his initial assumptions are correct so he can feel clever." Viktor scoffed. "It may be less probable, but at least I'm open to the possibility of a non-biological explanation. Although unfortunately physics is outside of my field of expertise."

“I'm all for finding out about new things, but he's a human being, not a science experiment.” Sherwood retorted with a frown.

"You're right, let's remain forever ignorant of the workings of the world around us because studying something and writing down my observations might make a teenager feel bad. Who cares about how it could benefit us?" said Viktor in condescending fashion. He rolled his eyes. "Look, you just helped the kid break out of prison and now he's hijacking an aeroplane. He's probably having the time of his life." I swear, he's worse than Doctor Halsey. At least she had the decency to reassign and let the rest of us study in peace.

"Could you both please cease your exchange of words as i feel that it will result in hostilty from each other and i do not wish to act as the lizard that has to keep either of you from murdering each other for this glowing man." Dick remarked as he observed the pair arguing. I may have to roar and frighten them into being peaceful. I do hope i won't but if i do, i wonder if the old rawr followed by claws out trick will work? Oh, right, one of them can read my thoughts.

"Gosh, such empathy." Sherwood muttered sarcastically. He wanted to reply to Viktor's comments, which he thought were ridiculous, but refrained from doing so after Dick spoke.

"Everything's fine, Dick." He gave a reassuring nod to the lizard man.

"Anyway. Sorry for discussing you when you're standing right there." Sherwood said to Icarus, as he looked at him awkwardly.

He ran his hand through his own shaggy auburn hair.
"We haven't introduced ourselves to you! I'm Sherwood Croft. Quite the day we're having!" He held out his right hand to the new addition to their party and smiled warmly.

Icarus nodded. "I know your names." He stated bringing up a screen before him, shimmering with data and flowing with information. "So where to again? just input the address." He flicked his finger, sliding the screen and keyboard over to Sherwood. "Besides I'm used to being talked about as if I weren't there."

“Hmm, well, it's a bit impolite, so I still apologise.”

Sherwood typed Paul's address into the system.
”All done. Are we taking off now then?” He looked and listened for any signs that the plane was starting off.
Spotting his phone still in the port, he reached out his hand for it. “Alright if I take this back now?” He asked Icarus.

Icarus nodded as a small hiss started to come from the engine room. "I just bootlegged from your phone downloading myself as the new AI on the ship, should be done by now." If one looked out the windows they were now leaving the Dropbox. Faint whirring came from the back of the ship. "Nice specs for this though, made so you can basically live for the rest of your life on this plane."

Sherwood retrieved his phone and placed it back in his jacket pocket.

“Don't think I'd like to live on a plane my whole life.” He replied to Icarus.

He looked up at the ceiling, wondering how the lizard man was faring, now that they had begun moving.
“You alright there, Dick?”

A cold smile momentarily appeared on Viktor's face when Sherwood called him out on his lack of empathy. Oh, that's funny. I wonder what he'd do if he knew. Probably best not to find out. With the craft now airborne Viktor went to retrieve his weapons.

Maddie gave Icarus a friendly greeting, then sat down at the table. Who names their kid Icarus, though? she wondered. Like that's not an ominous name at all.

She pushed some hair out of her face and took out her phone as the ship started to get in motion. She checked to see if it had Wi-Fi.

Dick was lying down like a hound on the ceiling and was rather relaxed. "I am fine and thank you for your query." He replied as he scanned the area with his eyes. "But i may take part in a napping activity soon."

The ship was at the forefront of current technology, of course it had wi-fi.

Viktor found the private quarters, silver printed into name tags on the numerous doors, all except Wallflower was ajar. Inside Viktor's room was a desk, with his weapons clean and pristine laid upon it and the moss green coloured duvet upon the single bed. Books lined the book shelf, and a door, presumably to a closet, was closed.

Now that the plane was on the go, Sherwood went to explore his surroundings. He chose not to enter the cockpit, however.

Viktor loaded and holstered his revolver and sheathed his knife. He took his knife and revolver with him but left his rifle where it was. He could pick it up later if he needed it. Viktor tried opening the shut door in his bedroom to see what was inside.

The shut door did indeed lead to a closet, Viktor's clothing hanged up nice, pristine and neat. Shoes lined the floor, rows and shiny. There was even a faint smell of bleach hidden under lavender and sea breeze. A switch held it's place just inside beside the door, it was on towards "Closet"

The ship was big, it seemed smaller from the outside, there was a laboratory, a fully stocked medical bay, a dining room, bathrooms and showers. This ship seemed to have it all. Sherwood eventually found himself in a living room of sorts, a tv taking up a wall surrounded by a bookcase, a comfy sofa, a leather backed seat and a beanbag all faced the electronic entertainment center.

Wow! This plane is amazing! You wouldn't even think it was a ship at all!
Sherwood's eyes grew wider the more he explored the vastness of the vessel in which he flew. He couldn't believe there was a lab -I bet Viktor will like this- and the medical bay made him wish he knew more about medicine.

His tour led him to a living area, where he approached a bookcase surrounding a television. He looked closely to see what it shelved.

Viktor took a closer look at the switch to see what the names for any other settings were.

The switch had "Bathroom" "Study" "Armoury" as the other three settings.

it shelved a lot. Conan Doyle was marked, as was Oscar Wilde, at the each shelf there was a button, brining up a little holographic interface so someone could easily check what was and wasn't in stock. Even some limited study material on SPIGs. Very diverse.

Satisfied Viktor closed the door, left his bedroom and made his way to the living room.

Just as Viktor came to the living room, witnessing the same thing that Sherwood was, Icarus's voice crackled through the comms, alerting all on board. "That's us at our destination, I'm gonna set us down around the corner and then let you guys plan from there."

"We'll meet up at the entrance, we can plan there!" Viktor shouted at Sheerwood. He ran back to his room to grab his rifle and ammo. After retrieving them, assuming he wasn't interrupted, he'd make his way to the entrance of the plane.

Sherwood had little time to reply, before Viktor hurried off.
We're there already? That was fast.

He suddenly felt a wave of nervousness wash over him, but he was excited too.
Wondering what, and who, they would find in Paul's house, Sherwood also made his way to the entrance of the ship. He hoped that the scene they had set up would be less macabre than the video he had received.

Dick crawled around the ceiling in a circluar motion as he slept and seemed to mutter something about funny humans in his sleep. He jumped onto the ground upon hearing the announcement and unleashed his claws in preperation of the task. They were as sharp as a combat knife and he knew them well. He was deadly up close and he was a walking weapon.
