New question:

"Do you ever wonder if it hurts? To have one's soul ripped out like that?"

Probably yes, it'll hurt alot <_< recall if you enter soul cairn as the living, you must sacrifice a piece of your soul. Yeah, you'll recover n eventually adjust, but your stats take a nasty hit. If having less health than normal states anything in gaming, its that somethingg hurts

I figured the sharp bit of metal jabbed into the chest would be the most likely source of discomfort. Or the big gaping hole where the fireball went in.

Here's a question that I've been wondering about. When is a good time to quit your current game and start over with a new character?

I know that half the fun is simply roleplaying as a character and living in the game world. However, the other half is the challenge of building up my character from nothing, amassing great wealth, and conquering all the major quests. I've noticed my characters tend to get to the point where, not only do they become overpowered, but also it feels like I've wrung everything dry. By that I mean they've gotten to the point where:

* Bosses die in just a couple of hits.
* I've done every major questline (Skyrim, Dragonborn, Dawnguard). Though several guild quests might still be unfinished.
* I have more loot than I can actually sell at stores, to the point where I just dump all my excess at the Throat of the World and Fus-Ro-Dah it off the cliff.
* Saving the game results in CTD with increasing regularity due to bloat (which happens even with the unofficial patches).

I plan to start using more mods next, but I'm reluctant to do that when I'm still running into glitches with the unofficial patches.

Okay, new question.

I've been leveling up Alchemy and making it Legendary repeatedly in order to get rid of the surplus of ingredients I've grown in my three gardens and greenhouses. Now the problem is, how the hell am I supposed to get rid of 648 multi-effect potions with an average value of 3,000 gold?

I've read several threads on where to sell excess loot, both here and on other gaming forums. Some suggestions include buying up all the soul gems from court and college mages, buying up all the ingots and ore from blacksmiths, and selling it to the Thieves Guild merchants that move in when you complete the special jobs. However, I'm trying to sell off nearly 2 million gold worth of potions, and those merchants don't have nearly enough. Also, since the potions weigh less than the items I'm trading them for, I quickly get weighed down with ingots and soul gems. This is the reason why I can't just trade them to the Dremora Merchant for daedric items either, since those are quite heavy.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me (which is why in previous games I got frustrated, dumped them all at the Throat of the World, and shot them off the cliff with Unrelenting Force). Any suggestions for how or where to offload the potions?

^Speaking of such, that gives a good chance to legendary Speech if you have the patience. Earn a few extra levels, seeing as a few extra million in coins won't do much gain

Couldn't you just drink the potions?

It sounds like you don't want the money, potions or need any skill points, so what's wrong with doing what you did last time and just dumping them somewhere, like the TotW, or like Timster said, an unsafe container?

Today I found the entrance to the watchtower in the High Hrothgar Courtyard, the one standing to the left of the gate leading up to Parthy and the summit. Never noticed it before. The question now is what to do when standing at the top of a tower standing near the top of the tallest mountain in the world.

Get a dead thrall and have fisticuffs? It's the perfect spot for a brawl. You could use the ritual stone and see how many dead bodies you could store up there. Alternatively, jump.

So far, possible best part of getting back into Skyrim: FUS RO DAHing people and things again. I only ever played the main quest twice previously anyway, so it's not something I've gotten to do for a while. But, like... things like FUS RO DAH are why video games exist. :P

I have a question regarding the quests listed on this page:
http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Quest_Timing

In the discussion section, I brought up a couple more suggestions for quests to do ASAP. The first is That Was Always There, where Revyn Sadri asks you to return a stolen ring. The quest requires you to pick an expert lock, but you can do that with even a baseline Lockpicking skill. If you complete the quest in Revyn's favor, he becomes the only Speech skill trainer who is also a general merchant (outside of joining the Volkihar vampires). This is a very useful resource to have in the early game, as Speech is necessary when you're just starting out, and you can reclaim the gold by selling any kind of loot to him.

The second is the unmarked quest Coming of Age, where you help the two adventurers Salma and Beem-Ja clear out Ironbind Barrow. I would consider this quest fairly easy, because neither of them can be killed by any of the enemies in the dungeon, and they will do all the fighting for you if you let them. The only potentially tough fight is against Beem-Ja when he betrays you, but only if you don't loot Gathrik's corpse before he raises it. Plus Salma will help you defeat him. The reward is the unique Fiery Soul Trap enchantment and a word of Become Ethereal.

Does anyone else think these should be on the list?

Salma has never helped me fight Beem-Ja, and that lightning of his packs a whallop.

So hey, somehow I accidentally took Rayya's armor off and now she won't equip anything when she isn't a follower, and I don't want to come home to a dead Rayya. Any way to fix this?

So apparently Bethesda ported Skyrim to the Xbox One to kick off Fallout 4 development.

Bethedsda: "Oh, what have we been up to? You know, just the usual: piddling around, thinking up game ideas, porting old Games of The Year to next-gen for shiggles. The usual."
(Meanwhile, in a dark cave somewhere, Warner bros. is banging rocks together trying to port a game from one next-gen console to another next-gen console).
