@FrozenWolf What about commiting a crime in front of a guard? It may initiate an arrest.

Walking towards Whiterun the other day, I noticed a small, dark grey cloud appear and disappear in the sky above Bleakwind Basin. At first I thought it could be a fireball being shot skyward and leaving a smoke trail where it poofed out, but it get happening in the same spot. When I got closer, I kicked on the 'tfc' command and took the camera up towards the sky where this cloud kept appearing. Something dark and small came into view, and as I got closer I saw it was a live salmon hanging in the sky above the tundra.

I almost smashed the keyboard after this glitch. It seems that wispmothers are still heavily bugged. I was in Blackreach and cast Pacify on one so that I could get behind and backstab it. Killing the wispmother was not the problem though. I soon found out that I was completely unable to save the game at any point after killing it. Even if I used a fresh save slot, I immediately got a CTD and the game didn't even write the save. This crash occurred about 5 times before I figured out that the wispmother was responsible. I had to go back and load a previous autosave before my encounter with it.

I don't know what to do if I encounter any wispmothers in the future. I'll have to try using the "disable" command on the console and see if that helps.

Here's a weird glitch. I was outside Whiterun when I noticed that Ri'saad's trade caravan was in town. But while the tents and campfire were all set up, the Khajiit themselves were nowhere to be found. I waited a day or so but they didn't turn up. Curious, I consoled myself to their location and found them walking along the road from Riften to Whiterun, around Darkwater Crossing. In fact Ri'saad was separate from the other 3 and I had to console twice to find them.
I loaded an earlier save I made at their empty camp and consoled them to my location whereupon they immediately went about their normal routine.
Really strange. What were they doing away from their camp? And isn't their normal route Markath - Whiterun?

OK I wasn't expecting this to happen.

I played through the Dawnguard questline as a vampire lord, having sided with the Volkihar vampires. I defeated Harkon, told Valerica it was okay to come home, and then decided to get cured. I had already filled out the entire vampire lord perk tree, but I wanted to roleplay as a former vampire this time. I figured, what better way to do this than to become a werewolf? I joined the Companions and played up to that point.

At first, everything seemed to be working like it was supposed to. I lost my vampire powers and weaknesses and gained Beast Form. However, I checked my favorites menu and saw that I still had the Vampire Lord power. It still appeared under my powers menu like before, alongside Beast Form. I tried it out and it still worked. I could change into a vampire lord, despite being a werewolf.

Is this a common glitch? I've heard reports of previous versions of the game where you can be a vampire and a werewolf at the same time, but I thought it was fixed by the unofficial patches.

As far as I know there is only one precise moment where it is possible to activate the glitch that allows this. It sounds like you may have stumbled upon other means.

Edit: for clarity, possessing the Vampire Lord power is not the same as having vampirism - you are not a vampire. Although, you will have all of your abilities, perks, blood magic, etc. that a Lord should have while in that form. Sometimes, when you revert, you will retain some vampire traits, but only temporarily. Sometimes those lingering traits disappear after the next loading screen, or after you've gone Beast mode. Other times, I've cold loaded up a save to find that I have three racial sources of disease immunity active simultaneously (Beast, Vampire, and Argonian). This hybrid seems immune to sun damage, and does not readily have the option to feed on sleeping victims.

I've been lazily testing it, but moreover enjoying just how well it fit into my current RP.

It may be already posted, but while I was travelling in the Whiterun Hold I saw a noble horseman (one of those with the Imperial guard on their side) flying around. Eventually he stopped, and when I got there I saw he and his horse dead on the ground.

This one really [&@%!] me off.

I was doing the Rescue Mission radiant quest for the Companions. The kidnapping victim was Faendal. Earlier in the game, I chose to help Sven instead of Faendal and brought Sven along as a follower, but I didn't think this would affect anything later on. When I arrived at the location, Faendal immediately opened fire on me, even though I did nothing to provoke him. He did engage the bandits as well, but only after they hit him first. When the bandits were down, he went right back to attacking me, which resulted in Sven killing Faendal and my failing the mission.

So I tried it again, reloading a save from before I reached the location so I could dismiss Sven. The same thing happened though, Faendal tried to kill me once the bandit leader was down, forcing me to kill him in self-defense. I thought, okay no loss, it's not like I could use him as a follower anyway, so I went back to talk to Farkas and say I failed the mission. Everything seemed to be back to normal, but when I entered the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun, Elrindir was immediately hostile to me, forcing me to kill him as well. When I went back to Riverwood, every single person was also hostile.

Since I'm not specializing in Illusion, I can't yet cast Calm. So now I have to find a save from before I accepted the mission-- which is all the way back in Dustman's Cairn.

A few additional lycanthropy associated glitches:

* On rare occasions, feeding on a dead enemy will cause the game to reset the model and placement, causing it to reappear embedded face-down in the ground. As you might expect, this makes them unsearchable.
* If you feed on enemies and then wait in the same location to change back, attempting to move the bodies around will reveal that they're now light as a feather, stiff as a board. They adopt the physics of a much smaller object, in other words.
* A kill cam move may randomly fail to play properly, causing you to just stand there crouched and ready to pounce, even though nothing happens. The enemy will then remain stuck in the "temporarily invincible" state, with 1 permanent HP.
* Another possible result of the above is that the camera doesn't properly move back to the correct following distance. I once had the camera end up inside my werewolf's head, where I was looking out through the snout and teeth.

I've just discovered something about the roving mannequin glitch. You know how sometimes they come off their pedestals right? Well the other day a few of them decided to "wander" around my home. I discovered that although the model of the mannequin had shifted, the activator is still where it should be i.e. above the pedestal. I simply added an item (a necklace or ring will do) then immediately take it back and presto! the mannequin is reset to its original position.

Here's another glitch, but I have no idea how it happened. I crafted a dragonbone sword (having unlocked the smithing perk), improved it at the grindstone to legendary status, then enchanted it with a chaos damage enchantment.
A short while later I was sorting out my inventory to sell or store now-obsolete stuff, I had 2 such chaos swords! One full charge, the other zero charge.

The game has crashed on me, twice, while I was trying to trade arrows to a follower. I had just started a new game a short time ago. I was at the bandit tower just west of Riverwood on the way to Bleak Falls Barrow. I wanted to give Faendal half my supply of arrows, but as soon as I hit Enter to confirm, the game crashed to desktop.

Apparently this is a known bug that the unofficial patch has yet to address. I can transfer whole stacks of arrows just fine, but the moment I try to divvy one up, the game has a seizure.

A few years ago, when starting a new save, I tried to escape Helgen with Hadvar, but after unlocking the gate after killing those two Stormcloaks, he just wouldn't budge. I never found out what was causing it, but it definitely did have something to do with having about 100 mods installed and having them active at the same time...

I've started to get the "black face" bug with NPCs. I'm not using any mods except for the unofficial patches, and I didn't change anything in the game myself. It just happened all of a sudden. Since there aren't any new files that might be responsible, I don't know what to do to fix this.

I'm not sure if it's a common bug or what but 80% of the times, the guy I have to talk to in order to start the Dawnguard quest keeps walking back and forth, ergo exiting the conversation.

I now inadvertently have duplicates of most of the dragon priest masks. My mannequins at Windstad had been wearing them for a long time, and I finally picked up the last one at Skuldafn. So, once I completed all that business, I came home and gathered up the collection and headed down to Labyrinthian. When I returned with the secret mask, I went to put the others on display again only to find they were already there.

I swear, next time I'm not even going to add those buggy props to my house until I'm completely done collecting.

Delvin sent me to rob his brother.

Turns out, it's not actually a glitch. You might chalk it up to developer oversight, but then it may instead be a test. I mean, you could rob Glover, sure. But since he's in the Guild, that'd be a terminal offense. I was unaware of any of that, so I went to try.

As it so happened, I hadn't been fully indoctrinated into Riften's shady underground prior to the bulk of my initial adventures on Solstheim, but when I went back for this quest, the smith had a new, seemingly related dialogue option, and I ran with it. Only after returning from Karstaag did I realize that the item Delvin wants is not a reward from Glover - I still would actually have to steal it from his person to complete that quest. It seems sloppy until you consider the RP value in leaving the option available. A radiant quest with the potential to force a difficult decision. Hmmmm...

On a larf, I commanded Lydia to use the Stone outside of Raven Rock while it was corrupted. After walking over to the stone, she then moved over and started to hammer away at stonework for a second or two before snapping out of the spell on her own.

At the very end of the civil war questline for the Imperial Legion, I used a Poison of Paralysis on Ulfric Stormcloak when I got the objective to force him to surrender. This pretty much broke all the dialogue and quest scripts, and he did not get up even after the effect should have worn off.

Do not use Paralyze on any civil war quest targets whom you must force to surrender. This includes Jarl Balgruuf and General Tulius if playing for the Stormcloaks. Just hit them with direct damage attacks.
