I went into the smugglers cavern and killed everyone, but now Gaea Artoria won't talk to me. I narrowed it down to the last guy, I kill him then when I try to talk to her all she says is "I have nothing to say to you". Anyone got any ideas?

Did Saenus Lusius die? If so, you may have broken the main quest.

I'm playing through for the first time. I went back to the fort, Lusius is still there and told me about some nord town. Do I need Gaea anymore? Doesn't she have some artifact for me? I'm happy to leave her in the caves if she's no longer needed...

I went back to the fort and everything is working correctly, thanks for helping out. I've never had a quest NPC just stop and say "I have nothing to say to you anymore"

BTW Bloodmoon is friggin hard. I use Ice blade of the Monarchs and cut through Winged Twilight and Dremora almost like rats, yet the creatures in BM take almost a minute of chopping to stop. It's good, Im enjoying it.
