I've just come through the Dagon Shrine section of the Main Quest.

I had to give up all of my possessions to wear the robes.

Now I've come through, how do I get the stuff back? Or don't I?

All of my gear, except quest stuff (like Spring Heel Jak's Boots and the arrow of extrication) and all of my enchanted armour were included! I really wanted all that stuff

There was a Dark Elf who took all my stuff, and Harrow was his name-o...

I'm back on track and I've got all my gear back!

How? Found Harrow?

Yeh!

Don't know why, but when I returned a second time I could get through all the gates and doors.

Of course I freed the strange looking chap and looted the place to smitherines! He didn't run off though strangely.

I'd really love this game, i found that this game is fun and challenging, but i was thinking the weapons and items you are using is that really good, or something w/ that weapon.

Are you asking if you need really good weapons, or if you need specific weapons?

I have made it through using a variety of weapons (spells, swords, staffs), and if you plan to fight, you do need to be prepared. Iron arrows and steel swords won't do.

Anythingmade of silver seems to help n the early mid stages of the game - I found this in defence against wraiths and vampires in particular.
