I've been having some issues with crashing whenever I try to enter certain areas (Anvil Mages Guild, All Things Alchemical, just west of Pell's Gate, and just west of Fort Ash are the places I've found to crash). As soon as I approach, or in the case of the interior cells, as soon as I activate the door, the game crashes, without even a loading screen. I've tried adjusting settings, changing my load order, disabling mods, and even reinstalling the game, but nothing worked. Then I tried loading an earlier save before this started happening, and I could enter those areas just fine. I do have a save made a few hours before this this problem started, but I've made a lot of progress since then, and I don't want to lose that.

Thinking back to around that time, I did have a few other strange problems. All my tags in map marker overhaul disappeared, my custom enchanted items disappeared, and I found some things that should not appear in containers, such as dremora kynvals, goblins, and grummites. Since this appears to be tied to my save, should I just reload an old one, losing hours of work, and hope this doesn't happen again? Or is there a way to fix it?

I have the same issue, however my problem is in the area of Derelict Mine, Grayrock Cave and Fort Vlastarus, I can't fast travel nor walk to any of this locations cause as soon I get near to them the game crashes. My problem is that I am using the PS3 so I dont have the console. I have read several post on this page an apparently its some error with the safe file, so I was wondering if there is a walk arround fix or a fix to this on the ps3, any help would be great.

You could also install the Unofficial Mods Patch.
