The "In My Time Of Need" quest is turning out to be rather weird for my Dunmer.

She ran into the Alik'r on her way back from the dragon fight at Western Watchtower. The funny thing is that the guard they were supposed to talk to hadn't spawned, so the two Alik'r stood on the street arguing with thin air about not being allowed into the city.

After talking to Saadia, Amara went to Dragonsreach Dungeon to talk to the Alik'r prisoner. And that's when this happened:



Too bad Faendal wouldn't tell Amara how he'd gotten through the locked cell door. Pity, it would have saved her the 100 gold she had to pay the guards to get the Alik'r released.

Mannequin bug strikes again; while giving Sophie a present of a new dress, she ended up in undies instead. That lasted until I fixed it. At least the kids are wearing Blue undies instead of the dingey tan things. Another Heljarchen Hall bug, the guests/bard sometimes are standing on the chairs at the table. I says' "Hey get off my friggin furniture you animals!"
Also same house same day, Gregor was standing inside the dining table and trying to walk.
Anybody got any RAID?

On the PC, Jacques Lien is now L59. He has issues. Some weeks ago he developed a problem with his eyes.

Which is to say he no longer has any.

I can look in the sockets and see flesh. Yeah, that's not a bit creepy. Recently he has had a return of the well-known Draugr Eye Syndrome - glowing eyes. In his case, glowing eye sockets.

Again, not creepy.

In the midst of Dragonborn - finished last night - he starting smoking: from his feet, the black tendrils wrap about him from toe to head, as it were, quite translucent. Our favorite surgeon at the Ragged Flagon was able to reinstall his eyeballs (needed a new graphics driver, no doubt), but we are still working on the glowing and the smoking.

At least now he is, at least literally, smoking hot.

Three new rediculous glitches, in the dig on Solstheim, I killed a Drauger but it remained standing and aggressive looking, but you could search it and it did not try to hurt you.
In a hidout/cave with water there was a goat walking on the water.
On the way to Bonestrewn Crest as the flying mammoth's drop in, one of them lands hard, dies and is available to search.

A long time ago, a couple Cultists attacked Felina in Solitude. Instead of leaving their bodies in the middle of the street (and out of sheer laziness rather than using the console), she placed their bodies in the blacksmith forge. Fast forward--I don't know--how many months later:



^^At first, I was shocked. What the--? Then I remembered. Still, it doesn't look so good for him. I should probably do something about that but its too hilarious.

My character exited Jorrvaskr with Aela as her follower. During the loading screen, I started fiddling with the controller and discovered that you can rotate the loading screen image. Huh. I didn't know that. So I sat there for few seconds rotating the image. The area loaded and the loading screen went away. After trotting through Whiterun a little ways, I realized Aela wasn't behind my character. So I returned to Jorrvaskr. Aela was outside the door... rotating in place.

"I'm still here," Aela said, rotating. Unfortunately, she could not follow and rotate at the same time. That could have been interesting - a constantly spinning follower.

Restarting from my last save fixed the problem.

More fun with a mannequin bug. Severin manor-Solstheim. Entering the room with ?6 Mannquins.Only one was in the correct location, it had my Dragonscale Armor on it. Floating all the way to the cieling was a mannequin with only stahlrim boots on. I would not have seen it, except the boots are a bright blue. The others were near their normal locations, but not where they are supposed to be. I think I may have interrupted a party...?

Ive also experienced invisible tools. Just last night I came across a floating axe and then I saw the bandit it belonged to running toward me with an invisible axe. Then it corrected itself and the axe went to his hands as he swung at me. I also was getting ready to leave Whiterun whenever someone zoomed across my screen really fast past my house, the smith and then disapeared behind that other building there at the end, I think the drunken huntsman. The funny part was that they were stretched out two houses length the whole way. Never could figure out who it was or if they landed in the town, no one was back there. I also had a funny dragon glitch with a dragon spinning in the sky. I uploaded it to youtube to show ya but I can't post links here yet. I made it my interests on my profile though, its a laugh.

I think there's something in Riften's water.

No idea what caused this O_o.

Last night in the Thieves guild, by the water. Sapphire was sitting at the same time as Rune was straddling the same location. Looked like she had her head up his butt. Yikes!

Morthal went mad today for some odd reason...

On my PS3 game, just after I finished getting something from Jorgen, he shot away from the door to his house, floated over the water, started chopping wood in midair, and then plopped back down into the water... Where he swam to shore like nothing happened. That was just odd.

On my PC game, I was picking plants around Morthal while waiting for something when a Dragon attacked. Nothing odd there, right?
Well, I turned back to the center of town only to find that Joric had started to swim through the air. Swimming. Through the air. I've only ever seen one NPC do that and it was Louis Letrush (of course). He kept at that for a while.

Did anyone else encounter some water glitches when doing the east empire trading company quest? The part where you go to the island? When I did that one there was 'water' everywhere. I kept swimming all over the place

True story: I wanted to bring the courier to my character with the ‘moveto player’ command, and even though I looked up the needed ID on the courier’s page in the wiki, the console summoned a barrel.

Well I completed the main dragonborn quest line awhile ago. But I decided to go back to Solstheim to explore and do some minor quests. I headed to the area with the Telvanni style mushroom houses, and just noticed the Silt Strider (win!). But I also discovered Miraak.. standing outside the houses. Just standing there, glowing. No available dialog, can't attack him. Just standing there... Weird.


Edit to add: lol this is great! That wizard outside just cast his summon ash guardian spell and the thing is going crazy, BUT- Miraak is now fighting him hand to hand style! How hilarious!

I just experienced another glitch in Solstheim, a really cool one actually. I am at Saering's watch and have just encountered my first Elder Dragon. I began to attack it with arrows, and then shouted Bend Will at it. It landed, and as it got close I noticed it was an Elder Dragon. So I started attacking it again. With less than 1/10 of its health gone it started to burst the way that they do when you kill them. It turned into a skeleton and I absorbed its soul. And then it raised into the air and is now attacking something down from me, in skeleton form. So cool!

I just had a weird glitch where I got "stuck" in the front door at Warmaidens. I could go in and out of the store but I couldn't move from the spot I was stuck in. Then after a while the game crashed on me.

Collection of stupid (not just glitches)

I'm very used to the constant glitches that seem to occur whenever a NPC attempts to chop wood, with it getting stuck in random parts of their body or their axe still attached to their hand. However, the latest glitch was even a bit crazy for Skyrim. I've never seen so many things wrong with a single character at once.
