Arellius Afer III - Nerevar's Prowess

Arellius, dressed head to toe in boiled leather armour and with both a steel tanto and ebony shortsword hanging at his waist, stood hunched over the ships railings, looking out upon the sea. He hated the sea, it was why he preferred to work in Cyridiil if he could. No sea to traverse there.

His head shot up at the call of his name, Gudrun he guessed by the accent and general tone of voice. The Nord both looked and sounded sweet, nice athletic build, blonde hair. 'Yeah I'd hit that,' is what he had thought when he had first set eyes on her and he'd intended to too. That was until he'd seen her in action.

The woman scared him.

Really, really scared him. He'd met some people in the merc game that were cold and maybe a tad psycho. He himself had been called such things numerous times before by a number of different people from all walks of life from merchants he'd terrorised to other mercenary's he had worked with. But Gudrun was different, she took it to a whole new level.

At this stage he was sure that she was at the very least borderline sociopathic. Sick in the head. Completely gaga.

However she did pay well, or whoever paid her paid well, well enough for him to forget about how [&@%!] in the head he assumed her to be and to just get on with the job. Coin was coin at the end of the day and he was earning lots of it. Enough for a holiday at the end of all this if he played his cards right.

And that was why, without even the slightest grumble of discontent he turned and strode over to her.

"Yeah?" He called back to the young Nord as he appoached, one hand coming up to push his long, greasy curls out of his eyes and back under his helmet.

Nerevar's Prowess, Per

Per was sulking in his cabin, he did little else nowadays. His first experience with sea travel had not been kind to him. At first he had though the seasickness would let up after a couple of days at sea, and that he would be up and ready to do mutinous things in no time. But after weeks at sea the Nord still felt like the inside of his stomach was undergoing a daedric summoning experiment. He could barely eat, and any thought of revolt had disappeared from his mind. He yearned for solid ground under his feet.

Nerevar's Prowess

"Get Per and the crew up here," Gudrun said to Arellius. "It's time we had a little meeting to discuss what'll happen once we reach shore."

Arellius Afer III - Nerevar's Prowess

Arellius gave a slow nod and a grunt of acknowledgment of Gudrun's order before turning and begining to make his way towards Per's cabin.

Sinyail broswed the Clothier of Verana Rendo, picking out a set of robes, and enquiring to Verana:

"How much for these, milady?"

Nerevar's Prowess

As Per heard someone approaching he quickly sat up on his bed, and pulled his thin, grey out of his eyes. He didn't want to look like a complete milkdrinker to these people, although he might have become one. The crew had mostly left him alone since Gudrun had revealed her true colours, and he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. The Nord wasn't even sure why he was kept alive. If Gudrun wanted to get her hands on the Darkies, she could surely do that without him or the vampire. The Nord clenched his fists and made sure his silver waraxe still lay readily available in his pile of possesions.

Arellius Afer III - Neravar's Prowess

Arellius didn't bother knocking at Per's door, he didn't bother with a greeting either. He just barged straight in and began to speak.

"Ge'up, Nord." He growled, his voice husky and low. "Gudrun wants t'speak with ya."

Nerevar's Prowess

Per recognized the Imperial from earlier on the trip, but he'd never spoken to him before. He'd had experience with men like these before. During his time as a solo adventurer point he hadn't been too different from one. The man himself didn't scare him, but Per knew who would win in a fight between them in his current state.

He rose to his feet and grunted back: "She starting to miss me? What does she want?"

Aenar walked into the smithy, having just sold off anything of value, except for his sword Stormblade, that he owned so he could afford some armor. "An orc? Don't see many of them back in Skyrim." he thought as he walked up to the Orc. "Excuse me, whats the cheapest light-weight armor that you happen to have?" He asked.

Deseles, the Darkies

Llela took a shallow sip of her glass of Kwama Eggnog, as she glanced from her table to the three unlit stages. She supposed that, at midmorning, few of the patrons of Desele's were there for the skooma or the three girls usually on display. It was astounding how the natural light flowing through the windows and the folk frequenting the place changed the skooma den, strip club, bar and brothel into a respectable smalltown breakfast restaurant.

"What do we do next?" She asked, glancing back across the table at her... Well, her Llevana.

She still sometimes got chills up her spine when she saw her. Despite the incredible adventures they had embarked on over the past two months, so many things still felt like they came from a minstrel's story (an occasionally bawdy story) than from her own life.

Auburn hair matching her determined eyes, glowing like coals in her (some would say gaunt... well, dammit, [&@%!]) thin, strongly defined, beautiful slate grey face.

Katien was sitting down in Delese's house of earthly delights, alone at a table, unsure of what to do with herself, himself? Herself. She looked around, a glass of wine before her along with some bread and cheese. She looked down from anyone, but a soft grimace in her lips, twisting her features. Why did she venture here, why oh why did she? A longing for adventure left her here with her guides off somewhere laughing their heads off.

"Hilarious, Nord." Arellius growled in return, giving a dismissive shake of his head at the questioning. "And you can ask'er yourself. I've enough t'be doin' without explainin' t'ya. Just make sure you get up t'her or there'll be trouble."

Frondus tightened the straps of his pack as he made his way towards Delese's House of Earthly Delights. Delse? Delese? He didn't know, and frankly, he didn't care. Morrowind was quite a ways away from Cyrodill distance-wise, but it was worlds away culturally. The changes were off-putting, all except the change in plant life. The flora here fascinated him, from the colorful ferns and flowers to the towering mushrooms, they enthralled him.

He pushed the door with his thin, taut arms, stooping down to avoid smashing the top of his head against the door frame. The Nord peeked around, looking for an empty table where he could work on his journal, but was surprised when he couldn't find a single barren table. He saw Katien, and slowly made his way over, careful not to be a bother. Frondus looked over, and cleared his throat.

"Mind if I take a seat?"

Frondus smiled awkwardly and nodded, quickly taking his seat. After fumbling around in his notebook for a while, he looked over to Katien. "So, um...w-what's your name?" He cleared his throat, and waited for a reply.

"Katien." came the soft reply from the Breton. She looked down at the bread and picked at it, placing small bites into her mouth. "You?" Katien asked, a gaze daring to reach up to his eyes before quickly looking down.

"Frondus, from Riften, way up in Skyrim." said the Nord, now looking for someone who could sell him some mead. He'd always been meaning to try it, and now there was a chance to."What brings you to Morrowind, Katien?" He found it difficult to look her in the eyes as well, and instead glanced at his journal.

Nerevar's Prowess

Per nodded gravely. "No, no. We wouldn't want that. I'll come, chief." He was about to turn and pick up his waraxe, but reconsidered. He couldn't do anything without getting himself killed anyways.

The Nord stepped past Arellius and out of the cabin. He had to bow his head low to get though the door. At least he would get some fresh air up on deck.

"Where is she?" he asked cordially.

Suran, Verana Rendo's

"40 Drakes," the Dunmer shopowner said in a businesslike voice.

Suran, Smithy

"That'd be this here boiled Netch leather cuirass," the Orc said in his gruff Orc voice. He held the piece of armor up. It honestly didn't look like much. It had a bunch of holes in its gut-area. "It only costs 3 Drakes. Because it's worthless and likely to get you killed faster than going unarmored." The Orc laughed about his own joke.

Suran, Desele's

Kwama Eggnog, Llevana thought. That's almost as ridiculous as eating horses.

"I don't know..." she said out loud, and looked at Llela. Compared to herself, her lover was far prettier. Full lips, rounder features. Not something commonly found in the Dunmer, a race cursed to be jagged in both appearance and demeanor. She still couldn't believe that all it took to convert her to another sex and to her had been a drunken kiss. She shrugged internally and moved on.

"Something needs to happen, though. We can't sit around here anymore. We were going to get back on track, which we've done. Gudrun is most likely coming after us, and we don't know about Per and the vam- Aythu. So...yeah, I really don't know what to do."

Sinyail searched through his pockets, and put the money on the counter.

"Sure, here."

Suran, Verana Rendo's

Verana looked at the Altmer, her eyebrows raised in a way that said "anything else?"

Katien looked down. "I.. was abandoned by my guides.. I paid them to show me Tamriel.. and.. they lead me here.." She mumbled, making it sound as if it was her own fault.

Verana Rendo's

Sinyail carefully folded his new robes into his pack.

"That will be all, thank you." With emphasis on the thank you.

He then made his way to the door, heading for the tradehouse.

Nerevar's Prowess

Aythu was sitting in the small, dark hole she had claimed before being trapped on the ship with Gudrun, the room reeking of excrement, blood and generally unwashed person. This didn't faze the tiny, frail Dunmer, curled up as she were in a corner, red eyes staring into nothingness. She hadn't left her 'cabin' since they'd left the Waterfront.

Every now and then, she would violently shake her head as if trying to clear her mind, but mostly, she just sat catatonically staring into nothingness.

Desele's, Suran

Sitting in a corner with an empty cup in her hand sat an Altmer, eyes darting around the room eternally, looking at everything, then looking at everything else, and then back at everything. In front of her stood an empty plate; whatever had been served, it had been wolfed down in less than a minute.

Alindrel was having a properly ordinary day, smiling to herself, thinking at rapid speed about the inane topic of whether or not she should have seconds, the only thing preventing her from babbling all over the place being the fact that no one was close enough for her to initiate babbling.

Arellius Afer III -.Nerevar's Prowess

Arellius turned to face the Nord as he spoke, frowning at the question and very tempted to tell him to find her himself. However he doubted Gudrun would be very happy if the Nord took his time trying to find her and cited the lack of direction given by him as the cause so he made a sincere effort to help him as best he could.

"Up on deck. Tha'way" He directed, using one meaty, leather-clad fist to point in the direction he'd seen her last. "I'll be up after ya in a minute."
