That is what the :!: means. The game can not find the Mesh for that item. Since it is all of your containers, the mesh for those containers are bad, or missing.

One of the problems with Mods, is that you may loose some of the Meshes. This usually happens when several mods are changing the same item(s). When adding the new meshes, it may overwrite the one that you need, or you might even have several of the same ones, and the game doesn't know which one to use. Load order can also affect this.

1.) If you uncheck all of your mods, and are still having the :!: for containers, then you may want to load all of the data from your mods again.

2.) If you uncheck all of your mods, and then recheck them, one by one, until you start having the problem again. This will help you to identify which one causes the loss of the meshes.

You can have all of the Official Patches/Updates, and the Unoffical Update. The Unoffical Update fixes the bugs the Offical ones did not fix.

One of your mods is changing the path to all the meshes of your containers. Are you using the mod that changes the appearance of a container once you've looted it, or something similar that would affect all containers? That's the only thing I can think of.

hmm, thanks Deandra, Jeff and Doctor Meaticus. The path thing sounds like a logical thing, I wonder if the bashed patch has moved stuff around? I shall recompile it a few times and see what results.

I was using my old builds of OOO, so rather than dl a complete install, i was using patches, and missed the 1.32 (i updated from 1.3 to 1.31 to 1.33). Which had like 150mb of content in it...

Put that in and eveyrthing was dandy.
