I have been playing Oblivion again for the first time in years and have had a strange occurrence.

The website here says you cannot be permanently expelled from the mages guild if you are the Arch-Mage. Well I am the Arch-mage and when I tried to pick pocket Raminus It ported me outside took my key and expelled me. Talking to Raminus basically confirms this. This website says you cannot be expelled if you are Arch-Mage. This is supposed to be true and I remember it being the case the last time I played.

The only mods I have are the unoffical oblivion patch, and the unofficial patches for all the official add ons including the shivering isles. I also use WryeBash and the unofficial mod manager. This is very strange to me I can't understand why this is happening.

I will upload a video proving this if anyone can share a simple video editing program that allows me to do this.

"After your third offense, you are permanently expelled from the Mages Guild...If you are Arch-Mage it is impossible to get permanently expelled; you just receive a normal bounty for any offenses that you commit."

So you need to collect the items, flowers, hearts, etc., to complete the bounty. Have you done this?
