I recently started modding my Oblivion installation and for a while everything was fine, however now when I start my game it freezes in the startup animation. I used Wrye Bash, OBMM and BOSS to mod my game. All mods are from the nexus.

I don't know why it keeps freezing and I'm not that experienced when is comes to modding, so if any of you lovely chaps could help me, that would be grand.

Try disabling the mods you installed since the last time the game worked.

Make sure the mods you want don't conflict with the mods you're already using before you install them.

Comb through the list and disable anything you can live without, then try again.

If all else fails, start with a fresh installation of Oblivion and gradually enable your mods until you find which ones are crashing it.

And lastly, just accept that modding the game can break your save files, and start over.
