I am aware that I may overthink this.

Today my Altmer entered the Skingrad Temple and there was this arrogant guy, Arbor or something. Primate of something. Since script = script. He cannot apologize. There is no further interaction possible So you either have to let insults go or be forced to kill the wretch. I decided to use Frenzy. Did the same on Alval Uvani, who unfortunately killed Else Godhater. (I know she's a sleeper agent but I ignore the mq so)

Glarthir is an annoyance for every new character. He often pops up out of nowhere. If you refuse to help him, he kills the people himself. If you do help him you waste 3 days of doing nothing, tell him they are not after him and he attacks you anyway. Or you can show his death note to the guard who will then kill him. So no matter how. Interacting with Glarthir results in his death. Why not frenzy him outright and have done with him?

Don't even get me started on the castle clerk from Bruma who pops out of nowhere when you have 10+ fame.
When I kill an annoying npc. I either use frenzy, sneak attack, or use chameleon in some way. It would not be an efficient termination if the guards intervened, right? =_=

Have any of you deliberately killed an annoying npc in full sight and got to jail? Or did you annihilate 20 guards first before you did?

I killed Briarthur in Crucible as soon as night fell. He actually dared to steal a coin from my pocket while talking from me! I then choppe him dead again this time with a madness claymore, after I reanimated him. A few strikes with an aoe shock spell and he was in the middle of the streets for all to see. This is what happens to puny maggots trying to steal from me!

And yeah, Glarthir dies whenever I get to Skingrad as a new character.

When I start a new game, I plan to Command some npcs like that blond buttfaced sh*thead fan from the arena, into the magical painting and dispose of them there just before I exit it. My hopes are they will be imprisoned there until they die of old age and insanity muahaha!

I commanded that irritating "buzz buzz" orc in Cheydinhal and made him come to the graveyard, then summoned a zombie and raged the orc followed by an invisibility spell. The zombie then proceeded to eat the orc's ugly face hahaha. I tried to drag his body to get it with his back or stomach on the little wall surrounding the graveyard, but I gave up on that..
The buzzer orc is too fat. Maybe there is a mod to allow throwing dead bodies around?

I dunno. Scheming and planning and deliberating over what you're going to do to an annoying NPC seems like you're giving them more attention than they deserve.

The harshest attack you can give an enemy is to ignore them.

Well, truthfully, in this particular context when I say 'ignore them' I mean that you really shouldn't fret over getting their blood on your clothes.

The opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. To rise above an antagonist, to become unaffected by any of their efforts, to deem them irrelevant and powerless over you— that is the greatest insult you can give an enemy.

Of course, you have to move to a point where then your antagonist can be ignored. If you're not quite there yet, don't be afraid to use 'Plan B'.

I kill the Redguard pirate on the Waterfront because he cannot carry a tune and I don't want to hear his rendition of "Sweet Lady from Wayrest" one more time.

And then there's Chanel, the court mage of Chorrol. "I sing your praises and greet you again." Given the sheer number of times she will vapidly repeat those words to me over and over again, you'd think that she'd be able to do correctly at least once. I've plinked her from afar, perched high on the Donton home with a bow and arrow.

And then there's Vilena Donton, the one NPC whom I fervently wish wasn't essential. Especially after you take over her job.
