Nearly there!

I still have a few things to complete including the vampire stuff, the last Daedric quest, and the Shivering Isles. I am maxed out on all skills and attributes apart from Luck (60) and Athletics (89). The Athletics is an on going thing but the Luck is what it is and I've accepted that I can't increase it through levelling anymore!

I am casually looking around now for all the Nirnroot.

I am using the Oblivion Map at http://obmap.uesp.net. This gives map references.

My question is, is it possible to send your character to the locations referenced using the console rather than blindly looking around. It would also help if you could see if there was actually a Nirnroot there and you haven't actually already harvested it.

Answers on a postcard please!

Oh! I got the A-Bomb glitch and successfully fixed it using OAF - so that was a plus!

I'm up to 238 Nirnroots now. I've just finished looking around the bogs in Blackwood if you pardon the expression! There must be loads more around there but me head was spinning and I needed a rest!

The Wiki reckons there are over 300 but god knows where they all are!

If only the map showed where they were - are there any cheats for this?

That map doesn't seem to display 306 Nirnroots, but
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-Map-Nirnroot.jpg
seems to do a better job. Quite a few in interiors, and some are flagged as private property.

To actually stumble across all 306 by chance (Bash patch will make them hum louder for you) rather than use the CS to create a locater/inventory mod might be somewhat longwinded.
And for little less glory no doubt.

The Google map does not list interior Nirnroots, only exterior.

OK - I'm up to 274 and I am now struggling.

I reckon the remaining elusive 32 are invisible!

I've searched every single body of water, all of the internal locations stated by the Wiki and crook and nanny besides and I am now exhausted!

Has anybody actually achieved the full 306? Perhaps it might be fun and interesting to start a score sheet.

Something is a bit strange here!

Just when I thought I had exhausted the locations of Nirnroot I went and found another 3 in the marshes again in Blackwood. I know I've gone over that area several times now with the grass switched off the audio down on everything apart from effects so I can "hear" the Nirnroot and I know that where I've found more of the plant, there weren't any before.

Is it possible that this particular graphic only generates when you have left and return to an area - I don't mean respawning but generating as and when so that it prevents the player doing what I'm doing, i.e. blanket searching on a grand scale!

If it is it is extremely frustrating. It's as though the game compilers/writers ran out of places to put the 309 graphics and in order to fulfil the quota, they have programmed in a algorithm that replenishes when so many have been collected.

If this is indeed the case then I'm on a hiding to nothing!

Can anyone in the know confirm or deny that this is what may or may not be occurring?

Maybe you just missed them the first dozen times around.

Does this truly make you unhappy?
