Hi, I seem to have a bit of a problem playing the game...rather there are a couple of issues. Firstly, toutios sextious (hope that is the correct spelling), the guy you are supposed to kill in the quest Paranoia, and whom I did not kill as I snitched on Gaulthier, has mysteriously died. I was on some completely unrelated quest when I suddenly got a message saying that I had killed Toutious sextios. I did not kill him and when I went to the city of Skingrad I found him dead outside the city gates  . Can anyone shed some light on that? also in "the forlorn watchman" quest I was exploring the ship when suddenly the count of Skingrad Janus Hassildor appears, in the ship  , and tells me to "please go" or something along those lines. Can anyone explain why this is happening, is this a bug or glitch in the game or what?

The fine city of Skingrad is an NPC death-trap. A good part of the local population works outside the walls, which invites animal and bandit attacks. Sextius is one of the vulnerable people.

Then there's the whole issue with the bridge connecting the city to the castle. Sometimes and NPC will try to cross it while you are nearby— but not quite near enough for the game to render the bridge. They end up walking off a sheer cliff to their deaths. Lovely.

The Count of Skingrad, of course, rushes up to introduce himself in the course of a Mages' Guild quest.

Did it say you killed him or that he was murdered? I once got the message that T.S was dead/murdered but the quest was still open. I assume Glarthir killed Toutius Sextus in that one. I was not blamed, but there was still a body laying in the street (Toutius Sextus in front of his house) so now I'm careful to get Glarthir killed by the guards before he can hurt anyone. There is also that guy in Skingrad who wants to fight everyone, but neither of those things should pin a murder on you.

Jasnus Hassildor takes a long time coming down from his room when you need to speak to him, if you left instead of waiting he would probably follow you until he found you. I did that with Baurus once (left the quest in the city instead of meeting with him when I got the third book) and watched his little green arrow wander all around the map looking for me. I reloaded on that one because I didn't want to follow him from Leyawiin back to the Imperial City sewers. The creepy lady delivering the note for the Thieves Guild does the same thing. Usually they find you when you are waiting or sleeping.

@ chicken slayer : The message did say that I have killed him and that I should go behind the chapel to get the reward from gaulthier, all this being way after gaulthier is dead ( the guards killed him) .

It's a known Glarthir bug. The game doesn't seem to know who kills an NPC, or care.

It seems that Hassildor will just show up places.
