I've looked all over for Andre Labouche's body but I'm b*ggered if I can find it!

I couldn't find it on the first play through either.

Where exactly should it be?

He's the other guy who you should be able to locate after the fracas at Dive Rock.

You may have been to the cell before and caused it to reset. Sorry, if that's what happened.

If you make your way down (jump) from Dive Rock (right hand side) it is at the base of a big rock outcropping where the land starts to level out and grass grows. You can see the body on your way down from a long way off (I think he is wearing red?). The camp fire from Aerin's Camp is to the left. I guess that the body does disappear. Even though it is easy to see, I have only found it once and I spend a lot of time at Dive Rock.

From Aerins camp looking to Dive Rock, it would be to the left.

I'll just pop up there and have another look. I know the corpse hasn't got anything worthwhile looting, but I'd just like to see it to prove to myself he actually exists, (or existed!).

On another note, do you think a jump off Dive Rock is a fair enough test for abilities and equipment that I might use when committing to the last bit of "The Ultimate Heist"? I want to retain the "Spring Heel Jak Boots" so I intend to use something else in the fall.

Got any suggestions or views?

I looked for the body from the low side and it is very esay to find. Go to Aerin's Camp (from the turn off by Lord Rugdumph's) and walk the short distance to the mountain slope, turn left and walk a short way until you stumble over it.

I wouldn't jump off Dive Rock with the boots. They might break and you probably won't gain any information if they don't.

If you jump directly off Dive Rock you will die in a spectacular fashion (fun to watch). To train Acrobatics, hop off either side, getting enough height to suffer some damage (Acrobatics does not build this way without damage--amount of damage does not matter). Try not to die by misjudging your health and the damage from the next hop. It is a challenge. The view on a clear day while you are up in the air reminds me of sky diving. I have not tried the hops with the boots. I did not want them to prevent me from taking damage.

Some info I got with a search on the big fall in the Ultimate Heist. No gurantee any of it is correct.

- High Acrobatics skill does not protect you much from damage (only 0.8% between master and novice)
- with 35 Acrobatics you need about 150 health to survive without boots.
- Shoot an arrow down while falling
- Have sneak invoked when falling
- Fall next to the wall and run while falling
- Fortify health potions (Tamika Vintage 300) are in the battle mage's quarters.

My personal experience with the fall:
-I never wear the boots (I only put them on to jump up on the ledge). I like to help my sneak by going barefoot or wearing blue suede sneak shoes (or feather shoes stolen from the Mystic Emporium.)
-I usually do the quest at about level 10 when my Endurance/Health is high.
-I am usually in Sneak mode.
-I usually have minimal Acrobatics skill (minor skill default with few extra points from game play).
-I often have Jones Shadow cast to get through the battle mage's rooms.
Jones Shadow =Invisibility, Fortify Sneak 30 pts, Fortify Acrobatics 30 pts, Fortify Athletics 30 pts for 120 seconds on Self.
The Jone Stone is north of Bleak Flats Cave, directly west of Sanguine Shrine and only needs 10 Fame/Infamy points. I suspect it might be designed just for this part of the game since it is the cheapest Heaven Stone greater power.

"So if I enchant a load of armour for acrobatic enhancement at 10 points per item (say 6 items) plus say a ring and amulet for good measure which theoretically will give me 80 points are you saying that even that won't protect me in the fall?"

I don't know. Some guy on another forum said that there is a glitch so acrobatics does little to decrease damage. He gave a definite number (0.8%) so I put more weight on it than to someone just giving his opinion.

It may be that there is a script with the boots to destroy them and save you in the fall rather than simply a number (+50 acrobatics).

Isn't it cheaper just to drink a lot of fortify health potions and cast Jones Shadow before you jump? If you are high level enough to have that many grand soul gems, shouldn't you be prepared via building up Endurance, or Alchemy?

Mmm!

I'll have a look for that Jones Shadow maybe (as well - belt & braces)!

Where exactly do I find it?

Go to Bleak Flats cave north of Skingrad west gate (Skingrad MG quest cave) and walk directly north until the Sanguine shrine marker is directly west on your compass. It will be close by, probably a little to the right because of the terrain. Orange stone in a burned out spot. You have to wait until 6 pm to activate it.

Bleak Flats cave is #25
