Up till now I've been playing the PS3 version.

I have had drummed into me that the PC version is superior in many ways so I went out and bought a copy to have a go with, mainly so that when I go away on holiday and it is wazzing down with rain and there's nothing else to do except watch the wet stuff running down the windows, I can immerse myself.

Well I've loaded it up and got through the initial bit and I'm now out of the sewers and in the big outdoors.

There are few things that are unclear.

How do you drop items from your inventory? It was easy on PS3 - you pressed the "square" button. What do you use on PC?

Also, how do you set up and use the hot keys for your weapons - I know that you use numeric keys 1-8 but how do you set them up?

I'm sure there will be more but if someone can let me know this little bit for now I will be happy!

To drop items, you hold shift and then click. Simple really.

To assign items to hotkeys, you hold the number you want it assigned to and left click the item.

Another methed and the one I find easiest is to open your inventory and find the item you wanrt to drop. Then press and hold the left mouse buttion and drag it off the inventory screen and to the play screen. Then drop where you like by releasing the left mouse button. As long as the item you want to drop isn't a quest item this should work.
