Is it me or are oblivion beds just tiny. I doubt they are longer than 150 centimeters. O-o I don't think people in the game are midgets. Especially not Nords or Altmers. Why are the beds so small.
It would be impossible to sleep comfortably in them. I noticed all of this when I got the Cheydinhal house (with all upgrades) and I was looking at the bed and I was like... Is this a children's bed?

Rats are of unusual size (R.O.U.S's), and whisp stalk mushrooms can be taller than people. I see it as a result/necessary evil of screen perspective similar to using different camera lenses. Did you look at the beds in 3rd person mode? I think that I fed on Carahil (Altmer, Anvil MG ) when I was a vampire and she fit on the bed.

I've actually never thought about it, but I'll check and confirm it tomorrow.

Given that ppl in the game tend to sleep in the fetal position, it is a moot point.
